yeah, motion sickness is spinning motion

today I`ve hit mullet, 3rd 6 adder !

other then that my right leg couldn`t manage a single pixie set, I drained the leg completely in these past days since I wasn`t using left leg much due to knee problem.

Knee was feeling good today, I`m taking off for 2 days in a row for the first time in about a month, can`t wait to shred on saturday!

thanks Tom, don't worry I got many more nice songs and crappy videos to come :D

Today my PS Whirls where doing good, hit them 50% of the time, many drops because I was trying stuff out of them that I never hit

Other then that I hit my most physicaly challenging trick yet, Void.
I didn't expect to hit that any time soon, and it felt good. I hit it on my good spin/bad drifter side. I can probably hit it on the other side, but getting the good set will be really hard unfortunatly.

I'm getting flip vortex more constant, can hit it every 5 tries or so, strong side about 1 out of 3.

Had a good sess today, played for close to 5 hours.
Hit most of the combos I tried to, hit flip pdx dlo for the first time, and bsos of course.
Hit mullet again, I think at one point I footed it 4 times in a row, just cant stall it correctly.

Flip gyro dlo is becoming easier, watch out for that midstring if my flip dlo's keep improving for the next month.

Hit a drill I love midstring : pixie legover>dimwalk>dlo>repeat and that run also had motion and ps whirl, felt great.

I footed the trick I'm working on, pretty sure it's never been hit, looking forward to master it, it's a pretty hard trick for a 4 add.

New shoes, new bag

Didn`t push too much, but I drilled a bit and tried some tricks I`m not confortable with.

Had a run with pixie ss dlo, pdx dlo, a tipical mathieu drill, and ps whirl

9 contacts of smear>plo>rpt and sealed with about 10 additional tricks

could'nt hit drifter>whirl>repeat, but always dropped on 4th trick, started it from any possible trick/side and same result. Also tried to do vortex>whirl bsos, footed second vortex at the best...

it feels so good to play in G-Units again, zooming is easy again, I missed those days.

Toe wall is punishing me on left pixies, I don't wait enough to dex and hit the walls often. I'll keep them for a couple of weeks and see if I can deal with this.

Played with a Clavens bag, loved it. The stitching is the way I love it, reminds me of Tom and Charles from Paris. I'll do a review on it after a month or two of play, I don't like to review something I used for a couple of hours only.

Decided to play even tough I didn`t feel too well.

If I played with my easy tricks I went long, it felt good. Some hard tricks where spit in there as well. I really look forward to improve string length right now. Only thing is I need to get constant on flip pixie on g-units, it was better then yesterday, but still, too many sets where straight to the ground because of walls.

I hit a move I don`t recall hitting, I was with the other Mathieu and while I was shredding he called for ducking illusion, I hit it midstring and it felt clean. I tought it was funny since I don`t remember even trying the trick before.

Worked a lot on keeping my left knee bent on clipper tricks. Helped on some combos, footed torque>torque
hit motion>torque, dyno>torque

also footed some pdx torques, I was jumping higher then usualy, seems to help!

finished session on 5 consecutive attempts to mullet footed. It's just a mater of stalling the bag correctly, time to improve PS Whirl some more...

One good attempt at montage and about 10 useless attempts. I'll wait some more to try this again, not ready.

So much typing to resume pretty much nothing!

I get what you're saying Tom, I go for stretches where I don't post instead of posting stretches!

Today I played for 4 hours, 2 of those solo. Only Koa showed up for the shred.
While I was by myself I was schooling some ducking legovers, especially flipside since I suck at it, realised what I did wrong and got that.
Stepping, I think I finally understand now, my steps where really good today, blur was easy for once, and steps never looked better. I finally manage to lift the leg, and move it on the side enough. Not the right words to describe, but I understand myself.

some cool combos such has toe set ss rev swirl>rev-up
gyro dlo>ss rev swirl
smear>plo>fear>fairy legover midstring
flip fairy legover, I'm starting to get some straight flip fairy sets occasionaly.
barfly>ripwalk
pdx whirl>whirl>blur midstring (I know the whirl is lame, but I couldn't manage pdx whirl>blur)

A lot of 2 bag juggling on both sides, and 1 bag on each foot, felt pretty good, even tough I don't go long, I did feel some control.

Sring length was pretty good when I used tricks I'm confortable with.

other stuff I forgot, but a good session overall.

Now I challenge myself to not play for more then 2 days in order to get all my energy again.

2 man session with Francois today.

He didn`t want to play with a small bag, so we used a big one.
This leaded me to get a week behind my my lext pixie problem with G-Units. Big bag was giving me headaches because I kept hitting the walls on the units even more. Had to wait a bit every time before dexing.

At the end of the sess it was a bit better, I think I will play with a big bag and drill that left pixie in g-units in a upcomming session.

Weather is suposed to be great on thursday, maybe I'll play outside downtown. I just love playing outside and have many people looking and wondering what the hell I'm doing.

It feels so good to play outside, with no walls around you. I guess I just feel free compared to when I play in between 4 walls in a small room by myself.

highlights: I hit some vortex midstring and a mullet today.

Brought my camera at shred today, wanted to film myself for that tripod comp thing.

I ended up filming myself trying to hit void for over 45 minutes. The good thing is I was footing it about once out of 5. The bad thing is I shouldn`t waste my time with the move. Also footed it flipside.

I`m looking forward to play outside tomorrow, even tough weather doesn`t look top notch, might rain.. I'll try to find a spot

huge session today, played over 4 hours.

The start was great, felt good with all my moves. I don't recall much besides my drifter efficiency/control raising on one side considerably
I linked drifter to many tricks today such as vortex, spin whirl, pdx drifter and many others. (footed drifter>mobius)

torques where good, didn't drop many, and hit a lot midstring.

Pdx torque for the first time, felt controlled too!

finished a string with drifter>vortex

Hit a new 6, pixie motion.. I guess that's the easiest 6 I hit so far.

Was trying a drill : diving buter>ducking butter>spin butter>rpt, but dropped on last contact many times.

I don't recall the rest, but it was a really satisfying session.

Solo sess outside today
Was really fun, some people stopped by and talked to me asking about what I was doing.

One was a girl from Denmark and she was doing some jugling with sticks, had a good chat after my session.

I didn't try to shred too hard, since my right ankle hurts a bit.
I got a mobius midstring, I never try this and it worked...

Really close to vortex>gyro dlo

I'm pissed the weather is going to suck again, have to go back playing inside, that really makes me sad...

There's nothing like playing outside in the sun.

Props on that new 6 Mathieu, I can't wait to see it, sounds pretty sick.

Yeah I can't wait either to play more often outside, I may try to get down more often when we can shred outside.

another outdoor session today

Was pretty fun, got to chat with more people, I forgot that used to happen by shredding inside only.

shredwise, nothing much.
got close to assassin bsos, footed 2nd one...
phoenix>spin whirl midstring

couldn't seal mobius midstring, always a bad set and was doing a toe stall..

spin buter>diving buter>ducking buter> repeat

Not sure if an outside shred session will be possible anytime soon, weather conditions are suposed to get worst.

Was fun today! Got to shred with Rob Creel.

Was a bit cold the first half, when it started being warm I had to go to work. Story of the week....

Rob`s nuclears are wicked. It was so windy it was hard to shred.

My right ankle is really getting worst, I'll play over the weekend but might be taking 4-5 days off next week to come back in force.

Met more people today, and 2 girls that I hadn`t seen for a while. Shredding outside is so much better then inside...

Hmm out of memory I can recall some highlights, toe torque midstring, and spin clip>walkover> inside set same side torque (midstring as well)

First tam-tam session of the year...

Actually first Tam-Tam since summer 04, since the asphalt was all destroyed and remade.

The new surface is better then ever, it's just awesome and grippy.

The feeling to shred at tamtam, you can't understand it if you never had the chance to shred there. I had so much fun, forgot how fun it was. Even tough I played a lot lately, been sick on friday night, and felt pain everywhere, the fact to be playing at tamtam makes you forget everything, you just shred hard and have so much fun playing.

I hit many decent strings today, from what I can recall:

pdx drifter bsos twice today. once was on command.
mobius midstring in a fat 20+ contact string.
pdx torque sealed to a string.
footed phoenix>pdx torque

steps where doing great.

Can't wait till next sunday for another great time at tamtam.

Chances I go back in Africa + 50%

I got a mail asking for my CV ASAP for a job next year (sept 07 to end of june 08)

If the pay is good, I'll be gone again.

It's weird, when I'm starting to meet a lot of new people, after finally coming out of the devastating reality which consists of people forgetting you after 2 years when you are gone, there I am falling in the same trap!

I just can't resist going out of Canada, where everything is simple, opposed to other countries where everything is complicated.

My way of life....

If it works out, after that I'll be travelling around the world for a year just as I already planned before.
