New footbags thread

SO I have been travelling for about two weeks for work, and come home to these!!!

Two Toby bags that I have been waiting on for about two months! There was a letter inside from the New Zealand postal service indicating that it was identified as possibly containing dangerous goods. But there were no holes cut in it or anything.

The best way to describe these bags is to think of comparing a car chasis from the 60's to todays. They have crumple zones that do wonders!! A crumple zone, on a footbag!! The orange one weighs 45g, the red 50g.

And here is my awesome new Brinard bag!! I think it is one of his new minis. So uniform and so round!! 57g, perfect weight. I can't wait to get this baby broken in!! Thank you brinard, you have amazing bags!!

Got my footfighter in the mail yesterday. Wow my abshires blow this thing out of the water. I mean the regular feels way to big, should of got a mini. It also breaks in easy like freedom said. Now I know I am going to rip it in the next two months. Abshire bags for the win, never going to play with anything else ever, hope Richard is listening.(reading)

To me buying an Abshire is like paying more for his name and not for the quality of the footbag(my opinion).

To get a bag filled with Tungsten is pretty dope if you ask me. Not particularly in Fearless 55s, but in all the 32s that Abshire makes.

I seriously doubt he fills his bags with steel anymore. And I doubt he would openly market his bags if they were really filled with lead.

it takes you a long time to die from lead poisoning. if you own any lead filled footbags, it would be wise for you to look up lead poisoning and see its symptoms. your brain goes far before your body.

that being said, i love lead footbags.

ive played with some really really old abshires, and i think once they are beat up they are the best. sure it takes a long time till its choice, but abshires are durable.

I didn't realize that I was hated so much in this sport. Its a fucking shame that some of pricks can't say anything nice. As for the quality of my footbags, they are the best. Any takers out there want to go head to head with my stitching, BRING IT ON. So many of you just don't have the experience to say much at all. That for making someone who has spent 22 years of his life making sure there is a sport. So of you should find something less dangerous to do instead of ripping on me.

your bags are dope, richie. No one said otherwise. All I see is a few posts in which people say that your bags are not their preference. Frankly, they're not my preference. I prefer my own over yours, not because I think yours are bad, per se, but just because I make a VERY different product than you and I like the way it plays better for my game. You've gotta respect that; people have different values regarding what they like for a footbag. I've had some awesome abshires that lasted me a long time, and I've played with some that I have downright disliked, for various reasons.

props on the sweet stuff in your new video, I really liked the symp dod and those cool links. is it possibly that you could comment on the validity of the story about you hitting barfly with a live rat?

I think Matt hit it dead on there. I know some people don't like that they take a while to break in. Personally, I've never played with one. Why? Cost mostly. I'm cheap and on a small budget so I get the bags from new stitchers and stuff. I wanna try your's out and I feel the endurance they are said to have would be a good trait.

Different strokes for different folks.

That post was not aimed at you Matt. Thanks for your honesty. That goes along way with me. I am pointing the finger at the ones who have behind the scenes put me and my bags down. New players need more skills to post a review and new stitchers need alot more work. My new bags are better than anything I have made before. World titles from past users don't lie. Results and facts are much stronger than opinion. The rat story happened about 15 years ago in a friends apartment. Osis osis barfly osis torque to hand catch. The hand catch was harder than the stalls. Don't do this with a pet, only a rat that is food for a snake.
