Cassy & Andrew
Had some quality solo sesh time today, mostly did some much needed drilling of basics.
~Legover x7
~Pickup x4
~Flipside Symp Mirage
~Eclipse
Before today i couldn't pickup from a toe worth shit and I wasn't great at legovers either, but something clicked and now im getting a lot better. I've also been drilling clippers, my flipside is definitely getting stronger.

There hasn't been a post in here for quite some time! That's because there haven't been many breakthroughs in footbag over the past little while, except maybe some better consistancy on the same old tricks.
This is due to the limited playing time, because of the fact that I've been "homeless" and hopping around peoples' couches and guest bedrooms for over a week now. Long story, but things are beginning to get sorted out (I'm back in highschool
With the best course load ever!) and footbag will be happening more often.
I'm really looking forward to the warm weather approaching, at which point the same boring YMCA setting can be switched up. I'm sure there will be much lake-side shred, and gawking hacky-slackers around the town...
Speaking of hack, Cassy and I were messing around with some sockbag this evening, it was pretty fun. I even managed to hit some short tiltless strings, and Ripwalk, and Blur (I think..), and DATW, but of course DATW's easier in socks. We've been experimenting a little, and ended up playing some "net" with my bouncy Abshire the other day. Of course, no net was involved, it was more of a long distance single-kick-passing...
I've recently started hitting Symposium Whirl, which feels really rad, even though it's always been sloppy. Pixie is slowly but surely developing, and I've almost hit Smear. That is really all I've got to say! Payce.

YAY Jenna!
So I've also been making a bit of progress lately too. My tiltless strings are definitely improving, I can get 8-10 fairly easily now and my record is now 13. I've also been working on symposium mirage, paradox mirage and osis, I've been able to hit all of them BSOS but I'd like to get more consistent with them within the next little while.
The other day I also hit whirl which I was really surprised about considering I don't even like the move that much and haven't really tried it a whole lot.
I'm so excited for the warm weather, I'll definitely be shredding a lot more.
That's about it, hopefully we'll be able to make it out to To. again soon. I want my FAT shirt

yesterday at Legends before giving blood Cassy Andrew and I had a good session
hit my first 2 contact tiltless.. i know sounds pathetic to everyone else but you have to start somewhere right?
toe>toe>toe>clipper>mirage
woot!
and i hit another mirage
and i'm sooo close to ATW, think i just need to leave more room to cushion
hmmm
my balance is getting so much better
thanks for all the support you guys <3
well joshua, even though i'm not nearly as good as every at FAT - with their eyes closed even - i will probably go next time Cass and Andrew are heading up

There was some footbag action today at the YMCizzle, featuring Cassy & myself. We didn't play for too long, but it was a fun session. I still haven't been able to hit tricks that I've been working at such as Fog, Ripstein, and Whirr. I think that they are within reach however. Fog has been relatively close the whole way through, and my downtime swirl dex in Ripstein continues to be a little too slow. However today I tried a Crispy style Whirr, and it seems not too much more difficult than Barrage, so I think that it is certainly soon to come. Away from all the let-downs, I did hit Eggbeater today, as well as an 8ish
contact Guiltless string. Voila.

Had an okay solo session in my basement this afternoon. Worked mostly on some basic drills including,
mirage>ss mirage rpt
mirage>legover rpt
clipper>pickup rpt
clipper>ss legover rpt
clipper>mirage>legover rpt
clipper>far legover>pickup rpt
clipper>far pickup>legover rpt
Thats about it.. now i gotta work
mirage>ss mirage rpt
mirage>legover rpt
clipper>pickup rpt
clipper>ss legover rpt
clipper>mirage>legover rpt
clipper>far legover>pickup rpt
clipper>far pickup>legover rpt

Finallyyyyyyyyyyy had our first outdoor session at memorial park today, it was beautiful outside. I didn't really hit anything new, still just working on my basic tiltless mostly. Lately I've been really trying to work on both sides, I don't like the idea of only being able to do shit on one side. So i did a couple more drills such as
~clipper>far legover>butterfly>pickup rpt
~mirage>butterfly>pickup rpt
My flipside definitely still needs work though, so I think I'm gonna concentrate on that stuff for a while before I attempt to learn any new moves.

Hey Oshawa! Some of us toronto dudes are going to visit Jon Haber and Jorden Moir in Guelph, this Saturday (31st). They're super-nice guys and insane shredders. You should all think about coming too!
Either PM me later in the week, or check the FAT blog for details.

I got some high quality solo time in tonight, a good 3 or 4 hours worth. I've just moved into Cassy's place, and there is a nice space in the basement for footbag, without the many onlookers at the YMCA, giving me the courage to try out new stuff/drill old stuff. The night went as follows: (after FINALLY modding the inside of my lavers, nearly a year into my footbag career XD)
-Dyno
-Quantum Butterfly
-Atomic set developing
-Drilled Osis
-Much flip whirl improvement
-Flip swirl improvement
-Reverse Whirl
-Flip Illusion
-Much Illusion improvement
-Illusion BSOS
-Drilled flip ATW
-Drilled flip Mirage
-Finally hit flip DLO
-Drilled flip stepping set/Ripwalk
-Trying reverse Swirl
-Drilled Quantum Set
-Osis>Mirage>Butterfly>Osis>SS Osis>Torque
-Stepping Inside Delay>Step-over>Symposium Whirl(inspired by a video on Hackrifice. The string on the video started as Stepping Inside Delay>Step-over>PS Whirl)

So Andrew and I had a pretty good session at the Y today. At first I was playing pretty lamely because we had to use his abshire, which I'm not really used to yet, because our cuddlebags are getting torn to shit and the fill is starting to fall out
. But after a little bit it started to go pretty well for me, had some okay highlights:
~19 tiltless
~Butterfly>ss legover rpt
~Butterfly>Pdx Mirage rpt
~Symp Mirage>Butterfly>Pdx Mirage>Clipper>Osis>Pickup
I also had a few midstring osis' and my flip mirage and atw(bs) are definitely improving.
Fucking snow
Happy Easter!
