I visited Strzelin today, it was cool to meet with the footbag crew and shred together. We played in a school gym, the floor was a little slippery, but it was possible to play. I haven't seen Tomek for a long time, so I was surprised with all the new stuff he was hitting, lots of Inspinning, Flails and he was painfully close to Fairy Swirling Gyro Mirage so many times it wasn't even funny  Bobek did some progress to, he's getting more and more bothsided. I've hit a couple of new tricks, which doesn't happen so often, and what's even better, they were all high adders

Blurry Miraging Flail
Blurry Ilusioning Flail
Your Mom
Frontside Fusion
Frontside Plasma

I had some good runs too, like one started with Blurry Whirl > Blurry Whirl > Blurry Drifter > Blurriest > Bedwetter. My stepping is getting a little better since I tweaked my technique, but there's still much work to do. I also remember a run with Whirlygig BS, Food Processor and Alpine Blurry Whirl, and another started with Pdx Whirl > Whirl > Whirr (rpt) and with Pdx Eggbeater > Paradon (rpt). I'm happy about the highlights, maybe I'm getting closer to beeing in good form again.

Thanks Andras, yeah you're probably right. Ok, time to recap on some stuff. We finished the Żywiec footbag demos with a trip to Szczawnica. I was with Michał Ostrowski and it went really good. I think the atmoshpere and support of the organizers was the best of all previous trips. The audience cheered a lot, so I guess they also liked our demo :)

I had a few sessions too, and did some work on my Symp. Twirls. Got two nice highlights with them - Symp. Twirl > PS Whirl BSOS and Whirr > Symp. Twirl BSOS.

Right now I'm a bit sick, so I skipped two days of school. I'm better already though, so tommorow I'll return to my favourite facility  Too bad I'll miss today's session. I'll have more time to study  Or I'll go and buy some maple syrup - that would be nice.

LOL Jorden is so good - 6 PS Twirls :D

Good session today - first we had a short meeting of our association and talked about some recent stuff and plans for the future. Afterwards we had a circle (me, Budzik and Paweł). Budzik is finally able to play (he sprained his ankle about a month ago) and it was good to see him throw down some combos. Paweł was good as always. The good news is that I hit two new tricks:

Spinning Symp. Twirl
Backside Plasma

And that way I reached 30 7adders! Really happy about that one :D Not really anything else to report, but kicking off two strings with Blurtigo and Quantum Drifter felt nice. I should work on my consistancy more, but I shred about twice a week, all because of the finals. I'm getting pretty nervous about them, and that reminds me that I should actually go and study

I had a breakdancing session today, I'm slowly getting Turtle down. But it's still hard :) Tommorow I'm going to shred some. And now I'm leaving to my friend's birthday party.

Thanks Kljopa! Ok, I've been pretty busy lately, mostly with school but not only. Last Friday I went to Kraków to meet with Roger, a guy representing their association. Kierpca and Karolina from Słupsk (north of Poland) arrived as well, so there were four of us. And four is a good number, because our meeting was connected with 4 Square. The Słupsk crew is organizing a new project to promote footbag in Poland using 4 Square as a tool. There will be courts painted in key spots of the city, with the adress of the webpage where all the information about the game is. Small tournies will be organized, and people playing will be rewarded with bags. In the end there will be a grand tournament on the most popular field. So it should be pretty cool.

In order to create the website we needed some video footage, and that's why we met in Kraków. Some guys from Kraków's association work in a big internet portal interia.pl, so they organized a camera crew, and we got a lot of 4 Square filmed. We also did a small interview for interia and they should be airing it this week (promotion = good). Unfortunately I had to leave early and didn't get to participate in the second part, which was filmind players in a blue box studio, so that we could incorporate streaming video into our website. Thankfully I heard it went well, so we should have a nice website sometime soon.

I played some footbag on Sunday, but I felt really rusty, as I'm not really playing very often lately. Today I had to skip the session, so that sucks too. BUT there is a Golf Jam in Strzelin next Saturday, so if I only can convince my parents, I'll be there, shred, play golf and try to forget about the final exams

Session today, I was a little sick the day before, but I'm feeling ok now. One new thing, which is Whirr > Ripstein :) Other then that I was going through lots of basics and got close to one new link - Symp. Twirl > PS Eggbeater. I think it could look good in a Sick3 combo, for example Scorpion's Tail > Symp. Twirl > PS Eggbeater.

We played Golf, and did some racing too which was pretty fun. Rozo had his camera with him and we made a whole lot of photos. They will probably end up on www.footbag.com.pl.

AND! The Polish fearless record has been beaten today by Marcin Bujko (also known as Bujo)! He hit 15 tricks, with 2 six adders :D Crazy guy!

Symp. Twirl attempt.

Whirl, representing the Style of the Praying Mantis

Those are photos from Sunday, and today there was another session. One nice highlight:

Whirr > Stepping ss Eggbeater > Plasma

I had some good runs too, so good overall vibe throughout the session. The next Polish Championships are going to be held in Kraków - it's going to be a blast :) Footbag Golf is starting do develop in Poland, I think that (similar to 4 Square) it's a good way to get new people into the sport.

I'm thinking about Euros already. But I have to get over those damn final exams first. eh.

Thanks for posting Daryl, I'll say hi to them as soon as I see them :) Good session today, there were 6 shredders! That's something :) I guess it's because the weather is getting better, and it's pretty warm - spring is here!
We played for solid 3 hours, did some filming and in the end had a 4 Square match. I've hit two new tricks, that I've wanted to land for a long time:

Atomic Eggbeater (Bladerunner, cool name)
Symposium Whirling Swirling Twirl - just rolls of the tongue, doesn't it?

I'm very happy about the second one, I wonder if it's new. I guess I'll ask in the New Inventions thread :)

Thanks Byrin :) The highlight of today's session:

Scorpion's Tail > Symp. Twirl > PS Eggbeater

It's the Sick3 combo I thought up few days ago :) The second link feels pretty cool I must say. We captured some ok runs on the camera too, so as soon as I find some free time (maybe tommorow) I'll edit something out of it. Worcella Gym Shred vol. 1

We played some 4 Square too, it was fun. One month until the final exams! 8O 8O 8O

Solid 2 hour session, I played pretty hard so I'm tired right now, but it's the nice tiredness feeling :) I worked on basics and hit some new drills:

Barrage > DOD (rpt)
DLO > Eggbeater > Pixie Legover (rpt)
Torque > Blurry Whirl (rpt)

I'm really happy about the last two. My flip toe game is improving, and I always liked stepping out of osis tricks, but sucked at it :) We are organizing a small Jam on 14th, there will be Net, Golf, 4 Square and some shred of course. I hope some people will come :) It should be cool.

I'm really starting to be scared about the school final exams. Less then a month left and there's still so much stuff I have to learn. I want to study Law, but to get to the Wrocław's University I will have to do very well on all exams :?

Easter is pretty much here, all the cleaning and preparations almost complete, the cakes are baked and the only thing left is waiting. Todexon is starting about now, too bad I couldn't make it this time. I hope the Polish team will do well. To make myself feel better, since I'm not in Prague, I had a session with Paweł. It was ok, I did one new drill:

Atom Smasher > Paradon > Pdx Whirl > Blur (rpt)

We played for about 2 hours, and it was quite tiring with only two of us shredding. We run through the list of basics as always about in the middle of the session, and tried some new links.
