DC BAG REVIEW TIME

I've purchased bags from a good deal of those of you that stitch. I play around guiltless level and figure myself to be an okay judge of filler, stitching, material, and playability of a given bag.

That being said, Lets start.

The Filler: It's a pretty standard type of filler. Mine is alittle bit older then his newer model but still relates to his newer ones.

Stitching: It's really consistent and there are only a few mistakes. He stitched alittle to close to the top which means I can see both layers of the material, but I would have to pull hard to see that and it doesn't effect playability. Those are the only mistakes I can see in the bag and his mistakes only effect how the bag looks not how it plays.

The material: I choose some medium thickness colors which lead to it breaking in at the time he told me it would (2 weeks) The material is still feeling thickish and shows no signs of holes.

Overall Playability: Great bag. I've owned a good deal of footbags over the year I have been playing and this one is better then the rest. It was alittle stiff when I first got it which led to roll off but after a few sessions it just kept getting better

My Feelings: Overall, I love the bag. I'd like to see a little tinkering with the fill (which has happened). It's a good filler, just with a little tinkering I believe it would be perfect. Either way though, the point becomes moot because it sits like a rock after break in. Also, these bags are suited for those of you that like heavier bags. Though the current trend it bags tends to be for heavy bags, so this may be right of the alley for a lot of people.

I recommend these bags to just about anyone. They are very settable and stally and hold up very well.

Quick note on the stitcher. I speak to Dc quite a bit and he a great guy. Very concerned with the performance of his bags and very helpful in trying to make sure they're as good as they can possibly be. He's great to deal with and I imagine he'd do this for anyone purchasing a bag from him.

I stole this outline and some of the things written in this from Nogbad. So thank you Nogbad

ok, So I got this new Clavens bag in the mail on saturday. Its now tuesday night. I have done very little hand rolling. During my session yesterday I used it to warm and and did a lot of toe flicks with it.

I kicked with it all session today and it was awesome. I have one other DC bags which has been my bag of choice for a few months now. This one is way better than the other one. More of my size preference. It has more filler than his last bag I got from him, only slightly heavier.

This bag is only going to get more choice within the next couple of weeks.

DC makes good bags.

I've had my C-Bag for some time and all I have to say about it is that it's the best bag I've owned.

I love everything about my C-Bag: size, weigh and colors. Customer service is great, excellent communication too!

For all those in doubt, keep in mind that you are getting quality product from a skilled player. That is important, and is what you want, right? There are many inexperienced stitchers out there who don't know what a good footbag is supposed to play like. Yes, they know how to stitch, take nice photos and post them on modified, but that's not enough. You need someone with experience who's been around for a while...someone like David?

David Clavens is one of the top rated USA players, and is quite knowledgeable when it comes what bags to play with. David enjoys his bags, I would assume you would too.

I wish Dave best of luck and thanks for a quality product!
