Should I make a "blind stitch" tutorial (my way)

I was wondernig if I should make a tutorial how to do a "blind stitch" but in my own way, I believe I do it totally different than everybody.

I stitch the bag all the way shut, then loosen 2 sides of the pentagon, then I flip it inside out and fill it, then pull one stitch at a time with tweezers or my finger.

im pretty sure a lot of people do it that way. Actually, i think most people do it that way.

Lots of people do this.

And really, it doesn't need a big fancy tutorial. Stitch the whole bag, loosen the last pent, flip the bag. There I just wrote it.

yes of course. ive always had trouble finishing a bag, cuz after turning the bag the thread was so chaotically i have to color it to find where i must pull. also the blind stich never gets as good as a normal stiching, so yes, please do it. i wonder why one could vote no, you want to prevent some so called "secret knowlede" gets spread?

I've never seen a tutorial on this, it would have helped me out when I started stitching

The blind stitch is easy and conventional. Tom just wrote the book on it with his post. A tutorial is highly unnecessary.

I hate to be pissy, but how about tutorials on modding lavers, g units, climas and a bunch of other shit like how to stitch a 32 panel footbag...you can explain anything with words, but its easier to understand with pictures.

eh. I say go for it man. If it's slightly diffrent than my method, maybe I'll learn something! plus, it's great for the new stitchers. (took me a while to figure that method out. the stupid blind stitch way was hard at 1st.

Ok I agree with Pete also...This would be helpful for new stitchers...Other than everyone being fucking assholes and flaming Andrew and just being dickfaces...Seriously I think some of the modified community need to back off from people. It pisses me off when they flame some person who just thought they'd have a good idea.

I didn't figure out this method on my own. all I knew was the blind stitch for my first few bags, which I had a lot of trouble with. then I found out about this method and have never looked back. I really like it.

I think you should do it, andy. it doesn't have to be a big detailed thing, because it's a pretty straight-forward concept, but with a few pictures and simple explanations, it could be really helpful to a new stitcher. It's a great way to end a bag, I love it.

I think that no bad can come from the dissemination of good information, and if andy wants to take his time and effort to make the post and get it stickied, then I think that's a good thing. It doesn't matter if he's not the first to do it, and it definitely doesn't matter that he thought he was the first. It's still good info, and it will still help some beginning stitchers.

I also think you should change the name of this topic to something besides "blind stitch" because the thing you're describing is the opposite of a blind stitch.

Concerning shoe modding, at the time I made my tutorial I only took the approach in which people haven't considered before. I inputted my methods into modding G-units in unique ways that people would like to consider in their shoe modding (tongue mod, where to cleanly mod the insides, how to brocka mod them, etc.). In fact, they are simple concepts in of themselves, yes, but after they are already presented, there's no point in doing any further mods that are unique. Stitching is quite different from this, since it's already very straightforward. That's my only argument for this discussion, Andy.

I'm not being a "dick" or a "fucking asshole" on the whole matter. I just think it's unnecessary because it was easy for me to grasp the loose stitching method. If you want to do it, go ahead. I just don't like the fact that people are taking my position the wrong way.

I also think it's very weird that people enjoy taking "bragging rights" for methods such as these. I think that's silly in its purest form.
