A footbag video...at least kind of

Hello,

Here's something I wanted to share with you. I recently took a course on 3D-animation in our school, and it's final exercise was to create a 3d-animation at least 30 seconds in length. There were no other limits and I was free to choose the topic by myself.

The mpg-version has much better quality than the wmv-encoded version. However, it seems that Windows Media Player has some issues on mpeg-2 playback, but any DVD-software (like PowerDVD etc.) or Media Player Classic seems to play it without problems.

jay7: I had done some modelling beforehand, but most parts of modelling, animation and composition took something like 2-3 weeks. And actually I was writing my Bachelors Thesis on media technology at the same time, so it's quite hard to tell how long the animation took. I did pretty long days back then, so it was dozens of hours anyway.

Forgot to mention the programs I used:
3ds Max 8 (including character studio)
Avid Liquid Edition

wow im very impressed. very very cool, although i wouldnt have minded if the shred scene was even longer

but mine were a joke...
