Hey, I'm somewhat new to footbagging, and was wondering what are some good shoes. Differences of oppinion not withstanding, what is a good basic brand?

Rod Lavers, preferably Mesh. They are relatively easy to buy online, and 99% of footbaggers started with them, and 90% still play with them.

www.worldfootbag.com has them I believe.

If you are afraid of buying online or something, there are one or two people that have used "adidas servers", which can be bought in stores. However, due to their new-ness, I'd just stick to the lavers.

Hey mizua_r, no offense but we get this same post every month!

I'm only telling you this because there is one clear-cut answer. Adidas Rod Lavers. You can get them at the web address listed in the previous post, or you may find them at a local sporting goods store. But yeah, there's very little variance on opinions when it comes to starting out shoes for footbag. And the pros still use them too. Solid.

You could alternatively opt for the Quantums, which are designed for footbag. You can get them at planetfootbag.

lavers are designed for footbag too, the designers just don't know it

I also recommend the laver. it's not what I use, but it's a great shoe.

they are if you would prefer them, but i would suggest Adidas Rod Lavers as they are amaing to play with and super light.
