Thanks Ken. I keep trying it everytime I kick.

Kicked today, first time since last thursday.

I didn't blog last thursday's session 'cause I had a lot on my mind and didn't feel like it. I also taped some of it, I think I got quite a few of my 5's on it, and maybe one good run.

Highlight:
Pdx Tapping Whirl

That's it from last thursday.

Here's the highlights from today.
Flip Magellan, yay!
Blurry whirl > Pdx torque > Pdx blender off my heel, :cry:
Ripped Warrior, first try and HUGE!
whirl x2 > infinity > rpt > ripwalk > ss butter > rpt > duck clip > duck clip > duck butter > osis > infinity > duck butter drop
Frozen Pdx Blender
Drifter > ss Butter > rpt
Sidewalk > Drifter > rpt
Dimwalk > Blur > rpt
Sidewalk > Blizzard > Dimwalk, almost had half of this!

Had a session today. I had been working swirls all day, and when I started to work them more I decided to have a session.

Highlights;
Flip Swirl, is working better now, and I hit quite a few of them today :D
Inside > Same Leg Swirl, is fun, I might try hopover swirl
Rip/Rev stein, came so close to both today
Gyro > Spin > rpt, this is a fun drill
Torque > Mobius, footed, Ken this feels like it's getting easier each time I try it!
Blender > Swirl
Dyno > Rev Swirl
Eggbeaters, worked on trying to get them a little bigger
Pdx Whirl > Pdx Dlo, feels fun
Flip Blurry Torque, footed, aand I was so close
Park > Blurry Lo > Park > Blurry Lo, over shot the last lo :cry:
*EDIT* Barfly > Ripwalk, first try
*EDIT #2* Torque > Whirl > rpt (6 contacts)

I really like spinning out of swirls! It seems like you get the perfect set out of it each time.

I can't rev swirl with my flip
void keeps eluding me
flip stepping ducking sucks
plo > plo > rpt is fun
flip fairy is unreliable
flip pixie getting better

Ok that's enough. Friday might be kicking with the Unity Crew! I might put out a lil' vid of myself with the footage I got from last thursday, if any of it is worthy. I do know that I got a few of my 5's on tape, and a couple of 6's too. We'll see.

Thx Mike!

Friday the Unity crew didn't get together for a kick. Mike's ankle was still bothering him, and I somehow tweaked a muscle in my neck for I couldn't look to the right.

Saturday Conrad came over. Conrad my dad and myself played NES for quite awhile. We were gonna try to shred, but ended up eating too much so we didn't.

Today, Mon. Apr. 9th, I had some more swirl practice.

Highlights;
Swirl bsos
Dimwalk > swirl, bs
Fairy Beater > swirl
Parkwalk > swirl
Legbeater > swirl, footed flip
footed butterfly swirl twice!

I might practice a little more. Who knows.

*EDIT*
I did play some more!

Highlights;
Swirl > Whirl bsos
Swirl > Far Lo > Pixie clip > rpt x3 > run
SS Butter > Swirl, bs
Ducking Clip > Swirl, footed flip

Tried Spinal Tap > Swirl and came close

That's all for today. Take it easy footbaggers!

*EDIT #2*
8 contacts of swirl > osis
footed swirling same mirage
flip Fairy Beater > Swirl

Josh,

nice tricks! Keep it up! Your tricks always amaze me. :D How is your string length going? The last time we shredded they were getting longer.

Hopefully this Friday we can kick. I will kick tonight & tomorrow night a bit to see how the ankle feels. I will let you know if I am able to shred on Friday!

keep on kickin! 8)

later bro....

Mike, my string length is about normal. I can't really work length inside because it just gets so damn hot.

So what I do is DRILL concepts! That's what I did today. I drilled my flip pixie and fairy sets. Plus my strong swirls :wink: .

Highlights;
Swirling same Mirage, twice, and both into runs. Almost ended the 2nd run with a phasing trick!
Far Symple Dyno
Stepping Far Symple Dyno, very fun!
Pdx Torquescrew, first try, 8O , surprised myself
Whirl > Blender > rpt, finally!
Rev. Whirl > Dyno > rpt, first try
Torquescrew and Gybas in a run together
Dimwalk bsos
Fairy Beater > Dyno bs, almost bsos
Fairy same Mirage b2b
Phoenix, first time in G's, and first time in a long time!
Alpine Fairy Beater
DLO > Dimwalk and DLO > Fairy Beater in the same run

Close-lights;
Bigwalk bs, surging is fun!
Gyro GYBAS, footed one side
Flip Paradon got some work today

That's about it. That I can remember anyway. I don't think I missed anything :wink: .

Now I get to go write my "Self Evaluation Paper" for my Public Speaking class, yay :( .

For some reason or another I was on youtube today and I happened to come across the first and second Online comps that I entered. That sure did bring back memories. How many tries it took to get the sick3 where I liked it. How many tries it took to finally get my sick1. Plus it also brings about some questions about my very first entry. Now don't get me wrong, I'm not complaining. I'm just typing whats on my mind right now about them. My very first sick3 was rev. swirl > ducking osis > ripwalk. I know that ducking osis and rip are both 4's, but really how did I make open? I don't know how, maybe it was becuase of those two, but for some reason right now I'm thinking that I shouldn't have been open that online comp. Ohh well! Maybe one of these days I'll finally get my fearless combo and it'll be on tape, and I'll be able to submit it (anyway, I'd be happy just to hit my fearless combo with or without the tape).

That's enough of my randomness.

Here's some more;
Nana nana nana nana Batman! Batman! Batman!
Anime rocks!
I should really do my paper :(
Clima 1's suck, I can't play in them anymore

Ok, now it's enough. G'night footybag maits!

Well, Unity Footbag had it's first session togather since I don't know when. It's been way too long if you ask any of us.

Today it was the main 3 kickers of Unity, Mike, Conrad and myself.

Mike has been "injured" lately, but it didn't show. Lots of long strings, plus some work on single tricks.

Conrad has been really busy with school and what not. He hasn't kicked since the last time we all got together. Vortex once, and lots of his normal pixie craziness!

I had a relatively good session. Quite a few new tricks, which hasn't happened in awhile, and some really good runs.

Highlights;
Gyro GYBAS 8O , yay, 2nd try, almost had bigwalk in the seal
Pixie same Whirl
Pixie Blender
Butterfly Swirl
Flip Paradon
Reaper

Bigwalk, might've been flip, but I don't remember what side I had used the first time I had hit it
Torquescrew
Phoenix, on demand
Alpine Fear
Alpine Leg
Ripped Warrior
Matador bs, almost bsos
Pdx Tapdown, almost bsos

A run with side > rip > rpt, duck clip b2b, rip b2b
Spikehammer, footed, who knows how many times :roll:

All in all, we had a good session. If I remember anything else from it, I'll edit it in, or just make a new post.

I just remembered 2 things from last session; Pixie same Mirage and Smoke.

I had a drill session today, surging. It was only a half an hour, but I managed to do what I wanted.

Highlights;
Flip Bigwalk
Flip Gyro GYBAS
Gyro Blur, bs
Surging Osis, bs
Bigwalk bsos, yay!
Footed Alpine Bigwalk

I'd say that I had a very productive 1/2 hour!

Just remembered something else from Friday's session; Clipper drill starting at 1 going up to 5 then back down to 1, full cycle!

Yesterday the Unity crew had another session. Mike, Comrad and myself were there. Nate, what has happened to you?

Mike was doing good once he warmed up. Lots of good runs, drifter b2b, tap > atom one side.

Conrad was doing a hell-uva lot better then friday. Lots of good runs, footed flip smog!

I was having a good session, till I tried a nuke out of swirl. Needless to say that failed, but once I got "re-warmed" up after that I was doing good.

Highlights;
RUBBERMAN!!!!!! Finally!
Bigwalk > Blurry Whirl > Pdx Torque, first 5 > 5 > 5
Alpine Bigwalk, sealed with hand catch, then later on started with it into a run
Matador bs
Ripwalk x14 > run with Drifter and Torque bsos
Bigwalk bsos
Gyro Blur > run
Dive x3 > Duck x3 > rpt > run with Zulu bsos
Drifter > Pdx Drifter > rpt > run
Side > Stepping same Clip > Rip > rpt > run
Duck > Duck > Ducking Butter > Ducking Butter > Ripped > run
Duck > Duck > Dive > Duck > Dive > Duck > run
Magellan > Fairy Beater
Nallegam > Dimwalk
Magellan > Dim > Blurry Lo > Park drop, almost had one of Conrad's drills!

Needless to say, I was having a good day with the strings :D .

How's it goin' Mike?

I haven't played since friday, but when I came home today I was working swirls again.

And for some miracle, I was getting real close to ripstein. So I kept trying and trying and then finally, I HIT IT!!!! I've finally figured out how to think of this move, and it's so sweet!

RIPTSEIN, 4 times today!

Besides for that, I just had a little session trying moves that I might've hit awhile back or brand new ones.

Somelights;
Spinning Whirl, 3rd try, not new
Spender, 1st try, not new
Spinning Dyno, 1st try, new
Spinning Rev Whirl, 2nd try, new
