IMO the top two routines were very similar in technical difficulty, with Vaseks coming in as a little harder, but Jorden's varied trick selection and stylistic expression was far superior.
I liked the *kiss*...

Thanks for sharing so quickly Alex

I'm surprised Vasek's routine was 1 min 30 seconds...

whooooooooooooooooo, todexon was, again, big fun. i loved the whole event, exept for the cold weather on sunday. :(

if i remember correctly, and this might be a tough task concidering the amount of good and tasty chech (hows it written?) beer in my head, vasek fell while warming up. so he might just hurt himself then, what could have caused him to shorten his routine, what could have caused him to not win the routine part. other than every other discipline that was played. :D but that is just guessing! props on winning everything but this one vasek, props on beating vasek in routines and this f***ing awesome sick3 and big1 and for beeing there jorden. also props to honza for getting under the first 3 in every discipline.

alex, thanks for beeing so fast with uploading all this stuff. who will make a overall todexon film? 8)

Did my prize bags get there safe and sound? I think I sent them out a week before Todexon began.

Maaaaan.

Tomorrow I'll be flying back to Ontario. What a trip. Prague was so intense it left me with my head spinning. The competition/shred was epic to say the least. The organization and venue were top notch. My best performance at a competition ever! Accomplished many personal goals. Definitely the highest level of shred I've witnessed at any comp -- including Worlds. Learned a lot about the history of the CFA and other european scenes, very fascinating. Watched some seriously rare old videos. Some hilarious, but mostly intriguing. Really good 4-square matches went down too -- I'm getting much better! :)

Those of you in NA have no idea how good Vasek is. His understanding and precision of form and technique is remarkable. He hit a couple tricks I actually thought were impossible. 8O

I can't thank Jan Struz and the CFA enough. This was certainly a magical week for me. Always wanted to visit Prague. This is a dream come true. Special thanks to Honza and Klarka for putting me up and being so enthusiastic and helpful. You guys rule!!

Can't wait for the sick footage.

It was great seeing all of you again. Great improvements all round!

Peace,

Jorden

What were these impossible tricks Jordan, please share. Congrats on winning, your routine was great. That routine made Vasek look human, don't get me wrong it was very very good, but I think thats the worst I've ever seen him do in a routine and he looked beatable.

Yeah Todexon was really good organized especially with food and party going all around.

About routines what I want to say is that Vasek twisted his ankle badly few hours before final routines. I think that was the main reason of his indisposition.

Jorden props for playing routine 2 times within 10 min. I saw that you clench your fist before second one

Big props for the organizers!!

That was made by Damian Gielnicki, and what an awesome video it was.

Vasek's last 3 strings were unbelievable!

Just hope there's more footage soon.

not only the last 3 man! all vasek's string were unbelievable. The first one with all the symp. torques was just ridiculous. His toe game was awesome too , i definitely love it.
Jorden's wirlwalk>wirlygig was pretty insane too! 8O
So thank you Damian for making that cool vid ;)

Edit : Why nobody make a "todexon 8" thread in the video section? I think this thread is a bit "hided", no ?

Todexon was great, thanks to everybody involved in making it happen!

I don't think it was mentioned yet. The lights went out at around 1.45 min of Jorden's first final routine, he had to start it over again after a 10 minutes break. Mega props to him for doing a really good 2nd routine and for not being destabilized! I guess it was delicate to handle... Huge congrats for beating Vasek, Jorden!!!

The official rules say that routines must be 1min30 minimum. Vasek did did not shorten his routine length after he fell on his ankle during warm up ; he had it planned all along. It's just a choice, he decided to go for a shorter and more technically intense routine (than he would have with a 2 min routine). He had around 12 five adds! (not that this is the only technical aspect, but it still counts a lot)..

It's difficult to compare both Vasek's and Jorden's routine cause there's almost nothing similar. Technically, Vasek had more difficult tricks and combos, but Jorden had more variety. Jorden also had a better presentation overall (tshirt! and smiles..) and more originality, but IMO Vasek's routine was better choreographed (with a song that is more suitable for a footbag routine I think); it feels he plays more to the music...

Big props to Kamil Wysocki and Damian Gielnicki for also playing wonderful routines. I guess both of them were very close to getting 3rd place and beating Honza. Props to Wiktor who had 1 drop in 2 routines with a nice choreographed routine.

Go footbag!

Sorry man, but I have to LOL out loud at this statement.

Ok, here i go

No, seriously, I think it was one of the hardest Vasek's routines ever. And when I'll see someone do only half of this routine with one drop...it still won't look human (don't even get me started on beatable).

In any case, a BIG CONGRATS goes to Jorden, who is (if my memory serves me right) the second person only to Ryan to ever beat Vasek. Well done! And also to others, routine's level was insane 8O

I'm really sorry that I missed this great event, so I'm looking forward to more footage!
