lol.
i didnt make sense of your tutorial, but i knew what you were talking about when you made the thread about making a tutorial.
its at least cool to see how differently people do things. i personally enjoy doing a blind stitch, and its very accurate because ive had plenty of practice. learning to do a blind stitch has helped me with more than making footbags (fixing pillows, making purses, fixing shoes). i guess the blind stitch makes me really excited. i also dont leave the spool attached. i use floss, and double knot the floss on the end. but if your tom mosher, youre too awesome for knots.

The tutorial was muchos too confusing to decipher. I think it could have used a couple more pictures (as in, in the process of loosening the thread).

8 knots is way too much imo. You can do less (or none) and get much more security if done properly. Whatever.

if u wanna fuck around about blindstitching go ahead! i dont see ANY reason to be good at blindstitchtechniques if i dont use them...
i also finish all stitches then spread the last two parts around the pent and push the whole thing through..

I use both. kinda like tom. I stitch all the way and then take out the last side and turn the bag right side out and restitch the hole.
big knots not 8 but more then 2. I use a fishermans knot. the knot gets tighter as you pull on it.
This is a good Idea but as a real sewer( shirts jackets pants dresses) I learned the blindstitch method and it does me good.
still a few more pic might not hurt.
Thats my two cents

im confused with this explaination but i think i do almost the same thing ...
and personnaly, i make 5 knots for the first 11 pents and glue them all so they are all VERY solid. but i dont glue the last one, i just make 13 simple knots the 5 firsts knots are like normal then 2 knots with each parts (4) of the thread (8 knots in total). this way, it takes me about 1 min to make the final knot and it wont never break !!
