I booked a room for the PSU people, two double beds for $84, after taxes and what not for two days it ended up being $200. I suggest going to hotels.com, I don't know if that price is still good or not though.

gahhh, why do hotel people lie to me ;) thanks for the hot tip, aidan, too bad it's too late for me.

The Holly bag has arrived!!! all I can say, besides that this bag is sweet, is that holly must be a TINY woman, because this bag did not look this small in the picture where she is holding it ;)

THANK YOU SO MUCH HOLLY!! can't wait to see you all at GRASS.

Any news on the party spot yet? I am not of the school of thought that says that the party spot is a sacrificable element of a good footbag tournament... but maybe that's because I'm much more successful as a party animal than as a footbagger ;)

we're not going to all have to go to highland park, get fucked up, and hide in the bushes, are we?

my room is a smoking room at the hotel. Maybe we can get together there... I don't mind stuffing a bunch of people in for a few hours of fun fun fun... but something tells me that the hotel is less than ideal because it's ON A COLLEGE CAMPUS. ie: more security :/

I looked at the players list and it looks good, but I wanted to emphasize that I'm only tentative (40-60 I'd guess).

it's with great sadness that I've got to say that I won't be at GRASS this year.

I obligated myself to perform in a musical at school for the pit band before GRASS was announced. If I had had more sense, I would have checked to see when the juggle-in was happening, but I didn't, and now I can't make it.

Will, Josiah, I just cancelled my hotel room. Looks like you guys have to find someone else to room with.

Matt,

Damn, that is sad news for sure. But at least you will probably have a great time performing with the musical. Too bad for the coincidence of these events, otherwise I would have liked to see you perform.

Peace.

Crap, called the hotel said they were out of rooms. Though I heard giggling in the background. After hearing my voice they may have decided I wasn't Radison material and let me down easy. I figured I could at least get Matt's cancelled room...

Edit: I have a place to stay.

ok few things,

then next nearest hotel is the one listed under the lodging section as the marketplace inn, it is no longer called that but it is very close to campus and i just got off the phone with them and there are vacancies.

585 475 9190 is the phone number there and again here is the link

http://www.rit.edu/~jugwww/

THIS LINK HAS A WHOLE LIST OF HOTELS AND NONE OF THEM ARE MORE THAN A FEW MILES AWAY IF YOU HAVE A QUESTION ABOUT HOW FAR FROM CAMPUS THE HOTEL IS, CALL THEM, THEY'LL BE HAPPY TO ANSWER ANY OF YOUR QUESTIONS.

NOTE ALSO THAT THE RATES LISTED ON THE WEBSITE ARE NOT CORRECT SO I WOULD DEFINATELY CALL AND ASK ANYWAY.

CLICK THE LINK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I WILL HAVE A HANDOUT MAP WITH THE HOTELS PEOPLE ARE STAYING AT ON IT WHEN YOU ARRIVE

okay, I'm back in. I'm not good enough at guitar to be in the musical, which was kind of a shameful thing to find out, but I would MUCH rather be at GRASS anyway...

so, count me in. Will and Josiah, I'll get us another hotel close by.

just received 2 abshires for prizes!! and got 5 Josh Raye bags yesterday, 1 for prize, 4 to sell! woo!!

... and this one was no exception. it wasn't just the guitar parts; the whole thing is damn hard, just because of the time changes and the "hairpin turns" in the vibe of a lot of the songs. and, my guitar playing is a lot like my footbag game... those of you who've known my bag game for a while now know what I mean. and for those of you who don't... well, I'm basically all talent and no training. aaaaanyway.

I'm super glad to be going to GRASS. Thanks for your comments, Mike and Ken, it made me smile real big for you guys to think of me like that.
