Yeah Derek was my favorite player to watch when I was first starting out. Those cool Hackr vids with the drum n base music and such, and I'd never seen anything quite like his shuffle. Not to mention someone that could hit stuff like montage on command. I think it was before I'd found modified.

This is an awesome vid, I think I'll go back through the old Hackr vids later and witness the sickness...

he does. and then hits blurry torque> mullet out of it (i think). knowing derek, he probably also hit it bsos.

i miss him. i haven't spoken to him in a while. i really hope he decides to get back into footbag. infact i think i'll call him today and see if he wants to shred tomorrow.

i also started out watching all the old hackrifice videos. This one is awesome. By the way what ever happened to Derek? is he still too busy to play? He was (and probably still is) so ridiculously good

I don't think Derek was ever injured, either. I guess he just doesn't have the drive to play much anymore. I think we plan to change that this summer

A bunch of years ago when he was still playing semi-regularly he hit, like, gauntlet and montage as sick 1s, and dropped another 7 on the third, out of 3 tries. And alpine matador is nothing for him. I think he's hit alpine nuclear torque, and he's hit alpine 69 and ridiculous stuff. He would be so amazing if he actually played. It saddens me
