Crazy SMB Mod!

Post by shredzilla »

Haha for hardcore SMB fans only:

Most Diabolical Super Mario Mod EVER!!!

If you want to see him successfully beat World 1-1, skip to 10:40 in the vid. The vid doesn't show him ever beating 1-2.

I love SMB1, especially speed runs. This was a really cool video. It would actually make the game challenging if all the levels were like that. I'd be stoked if I could get a copy of this mod. Thanks for posting it Chris.

What's your record? Mine is around 15 minutes on the only time I tried it. Been thinking about hooking the NES up in my new place to try it again, but the DS has been taking all my free time.

I have never really timed myself. I actually had someone time me the other day on a really shit run that I died on. I think it was at 5:20 when I died on 8-3. And that's with 2 consecutive deaths on the skinny ledge at the beginning of 4-2.

I think my record is about 5:30 that I did over at Evan Lovely's house. I didn't die and I didn't stop moving forward ;) I'm actually off to go record a perfect speed run now on my wii virtual console.

Haha.

I only watched half of the video.

I laughed at the first attempt on the second level.

This reminds me of the one time I tried playing Mario the first time I got drunk. I couldn't get past the first gap on the first level. I tried and tried and tried. Never got past it.

I wouldn't have the patience to play that...whatever it was.

A controller would definitely be thrown during gameplay.
Those hidden boxes are classic.
