I choose the dog or the PRS. I've owned a Les Paul, too heavy (although, that's a lite). I've owned an SG, but nothing like that one. Frankly, I'm not into the vibe of recent gibsons, especially non-high end models. That PRS has some personality, and I love PRS. They're so hot.
The dog is a whole other thing... corgis are beautiful, and dogs can be wonderful if you've got the time for it. The good thing about a guitar is that you can give it exactly how much time you want, but a dog is an all-the-time thing. Both are chick magnets, i guess it just depends which you can work better

I can work the guitar way better than a dog, which is why I lean that way...
get the PRS. or, get a mid range strat and a GOOD amp. none of those guitars will be great sounding without a decent amp.
