Although i am very flattered, it's been quite a while since i've kicked with the toronto crew. Infact, the last time was in 2004, and Andrew and Paul were both still playing 8O . I think the FAT friends should be people who are actual FAT supporters, play with you guys regularly, don't fawn over your website endlessly, or clog up your blog with random rants. And with that said, perhaps this will be my last post in here for a while (but i'll still read it daily and hit your website 3 or 4 times an hour  ) I've wanted to do something like this for over a year for the folks who have been big Hackrifice supporters. i think i'll pester erik to help me do it once he gets home.

No one in Toronto minds if the blog is clogged with Grant rants! Post to your heart's content, Andrew!

We like to post often - just so our blog is near the top of the list and is easy to find.

Add it to the site if you like, Mike. It's called The Commons.

Not sure what this place is called. Maybe Dundas Square or something, it's right across the street from the eaton center. Anyways, shred there! Attract people! Put out a hat! Maybe get money!
Cheers,

That time works for me, unless someone was gonna be there earlier...

Oh, and if you decide to wear your FAT shirt on Dundas Square you may be kicked off for "promoting". Be warned.

Here's my "friend of FAT" profile:
(If I come back next year though, I should totally be an actual member for at least a year :p)

ERIK CHAN: gimped-up FAT groupy

Stats, in order:
experience, style, stamina, speed, strength, dexterity

Started kicking: 1993/94
Started freestyling: 1997/1998
Shoes: red, China, Adidas Rod Lavers (with Dr. Scholls(?) sport insoles)
Footbag: Cuddle bag (like, Pengpeng Du?)
ADD level: guiltless (super-guiltless wannabe)
Best trick: blurry ducking rev whirl, bladerunner, spinning ducking DLO

I discovered circle kicking in grade 7 and played every single day, arriving over an hour early evey single day to play with the janitor's son. I saw "She's All That" in theatres and decided that my life's goal was to get better than that one guy in that one scene. I joined Hackrifice before the days of "bothsidedness" and learned really slow for a lot of years. Now I'm better, but with messed-up legs, and footbag is my favourite! I also like comics and drawing.

Call my cell when you get off school. Don't skip unless the class sucks or you are going to fail anyway!

I've got to work Sunday, Cassy, so I'm out. Adam and Alex were talking about playing though.

The session today was awesome!! FAT played at Dundas Square at a peaceful pot protest. It was funny how many hippie-hackers joined our circle, then left in shame as we blew them out of the water with our freestyle tricks! Some were cool though, and showed an interest in learning. Adam and Alex both played great, Camille's shred is right where she left it before school took over her life, and it was so nice to play with Andrew Weglarz again! Andrew is the first person to teach me freestyle, and I was excited to bust my new pixie tricks for him!

My game felt really consistent. My runs were longer than usual. All my tappig stuff, ducks, smears and rev. whirls were fitting nicely in strings....
Sigh. Good times. It's going to be a wicked summer!

What?? I missed shred with Andrew and Camille??? :(
I'm hoping to be up for shred on Sunday but I've got my entire footbag schedule mixed up and I'm a day behind meaning I will be one day's worth more burned out than usual. I post how I'm feeling after tomorrow.

I just bought my plane ticket.
Sadly, I'll be leaving Toronto on May 9th.
At the moment it's looking good that I will be back in the fall -- I really want to, but I have no idea what will happen in the four-some months before then.

I'm gonna schedule work so that my last day is, latest, the Friday (May 4th?)...so there is potential shred time after WEED MARCH if I get my stuff together and everything.

BEACH ON SUNDAY! PERFECT!!!

I know Mike can't make it :( But I was already planning to go to the beach tomorrow with some friends... gonna go to X-Village...they offered us a discount on footbags should we want it, I'll have to smooth over the details with them first... but I'm looking for cheap bags for beginners, and I'm also checking out longboards! :D And then we're going to the beach to skate/longboard and play some hack... If you guys are there- AWESOME!

My neices are also in town so they are coming with me! I don't think they have kicked much at all lately, but hopefully they do with us. It will be a beautiful day!! I'm stoked.

Oh yah, Erik- I was sad that we missed you. :( It sucks that you're leaving, but I'm happy that you'll be here for WEED MARCH! :) I really hope you come back in September. And I hope to come out there to Winterpeg sometime soon.

Also, yesterday was wicked! So much fun! You guys rock! Alex you're getting a lot better, always learning, it's great. Mike, you are better and better every time I see you, your consistency is off the hook! And Adam- My god!!! I can't even say anything more than that...jeez... Keep it up man!

Sorry I didn't play more... I was... distracted... haha

I'm so happy summer is finally here... or close anyway! Haha you can tell how elated I am right now can't you?

See you tomorrow at the beach! Around 2 pm maybe?
