How to send bags internationally w/o Customs intervening?

This is a question i asked in the Mega Trade 07 topic but it was ignored by everyone, so i decided to make a new topic out of it:

"Ive been wanting to try and trade with someone, but receiving bags in Oz is problematic. Our last order of 3 footfighters came through Customs and they cut one of them open to check the filler. No compensation, cut straight through the panelling.

So im nervous about sending/receiving bags! Does anyone know a more secure way to get them through customs? Like a method of labelling the package or something?

If that was possible, id be in! I just dont want the bag i send to get ruined, or the bag i receive..."

most people dont seem to have that problem.

Customs is a BITCH! I don't know how to get through shit like that! It's annoying!!!

I usually show the teller what I'm sending before I put my bag(s) into my envelope. I pay for postage right at the counter. Internationally, all that's written is "# Footbag(s)" for me, but I don't know how convincing that is to asshole customs.

I guess it doesn't hurt to leave a small note inside the envelope saying how to check/change the filler inside the footbags by sticking a straw through the panels, depending on the bag.

I would wonder if Customs agents would have the patience to sit down and go through the whole exercise

Im sure X-acto knife seems a way more attractive option to them and they dont have to answer for anything.

when you fill out the customs forms you put
"hacky sack filled with ___ shot"

they wont use straws... why would a post office have straws on hand? its much simpler to just cut one open.

I bet if you included a small straw and a picture of the straw in between two of the hexagon panels (and a note specifying which colors are the hexes) and a note clearly requesting that they not cut the bag open and use the straw to check the filler, your chances of having a cut bag would decrease. that sounds like the best idea so far. a small plastic bag containing the filler would only show what is inside the small plastic bag, not the footbag.

that sucks that they destroyed your bag... I mean, I guess not destroyed, if you used some patch tape or some glue-type stuff. but, yeah, sucks...

Or send empty bags. (with the filler in a plastic baggie). They wont cut the footbag open if there is nothing in it.

yeh i guess if you are really transparent about your actions and what you are trying to send, then there would be less suspicion. If you are openly inviting them to check inside it, then you obviously dont have anything to hide really.

Reverse psychology, lure them into a sense of false security. Invite them to look thru it, that way they think you have nothing to hide, when in fact you're smuggling drugs....
