The Gambian Pouch Rat can grow to be as big as a raccoon and can weigh up to 4 kg. It has very poor eyesight and so depend on its senses of smell and hearing. Its name comes from the large, hamster-like pouches in its cheeks. It is not a true rat, but is part of a uniquely African branch of muroid rodents.

In its native Africa, this rats lives in colonies of up to twenty, usually in forests and thickets, but also commonly in termite mounds. It is omnivorous, feeding on vegetables, insects, crabs, snails, and other items, but apparently preferring palm fruits and palm kernels.

Unlike domestic rats, it has cheek pouches like a hamster. These cheek pouches allow it to gather up several kilograms of nuts per night for storage underground. It has been known to stuff its pouches so full of date palm nuts so as to be hardly able to squeeze through the entrance of its burrow. The burrow consists of a long passage with side alleys and several chambers, one for sleeping and the others for storage.

The Gambian Pouch Rat reaches sexual maturity at 5-7 months of age. It has up to four litters every nine months with up to six offspring in each litter.

Males are territorial and tend to be aggressive when they encounter one another, otherwise this rodent is extremely friendly and has become popular as an exotic pet. It is intelligent, social and can be very gentle if handled from an early age.

In Africa, itis routinely eaten as bushmeat. It (and other mammals) are referred to by the pidgin name of "beef".

OK, I'll have to explain this again

One fine day many days ago, I was thinking of an alias for Counterstrike Source. I came up randomly with PaintCow. Hm. sounds good. Then I combined my CounterStrike alias with the word sack, thus CowSacks were born. The logo for CowSacks is a unicorn.

I played with a bag of yours at GRASS. I liked it a lot, but more people thought they would be better if they were smaller.

but yeah, i like big footbags, and yours are really gushy, so its all good.

yo andy,

people are really going for that mini thing these, but not everyone. I really liked your big bags. they were fun to play with. maybe just TOUCH smaller would be better, because the bag you sent me has had a tendency to pancake out a bit and get misshaped in the air. it was a good weight, and I loved how it played like the more classic style lonn and carol bags I've used over the years. I think you should offer the grande sized bag still, in case luis monhollon or lon smith need a bag.

The last two bags you have sent me (including this one I'm now talking about) have popped stitches faster than any other bags I've had in my life. The material is fine, but whatever you're using for thread is coming undone, so you definitely have a change to make there.

Thanks for this bag, it was a lot of fun to use, it has beautiful colors that make it easy to see, and it played well.

as for who won your prize, I don't remember that off the top of my head. sorry, prize day was pretty hectic.

BAH! My bags never break on me...I guess I'll go back to floss or upholstery thread, but they wont play the same...

I do need to work on a smaller template...

if your going small you should stick to the lead instead, because like matt said people are in to the the mini bags(i know I am) but they also like the heavy bags. Most shredders these days love 50 grams or higher in there bags with a feeling of emptiness in the bag. Personally I prefer 40-50 grams in a bag but others seem to prefer heavy bags around 50-60 grams with room left to spare in the bag.

I just broke in that red/white/blue bag and its sweet. It stays really round for a big bag. Consistent stiching was a + and I liked the pattern alot.

I guess this review doesnt matter because your new bags are probably alot better than your old ones
