I got a horrible cramp in my back today. After much procrastination and bad weather, I started working on my car a bit. I stood up from crouching and a
sudden pain attacked my lower back. There was much pain and my back couldn't retain me upright, so I rushed toward the ground, and tried with little control to position myself to relieve the pain.

After a minute or few of intense pain, the pain dissipated, but from the little wriggling I managed, I was well aware that any movement or repositioning would bring upon another assault. So I layed there on a ground covered in oil stains, rust and dirt, that I would otherwise not choose to nap on. But I didn't care at all; the excruciation was temporarily gone.

I didn't want to call for anyone to help. I don't like general people to make a fuss. I thought that someone rubbing my lower back would help me be able to get up, or at least turn on my side. I was still very much incapacitated at this time - about 15 minutes after falling to the ground. The thing is, although I have plenty of people who care for me, and would help me out, I can't think of one person who would voluntarily massage me for a long time, without regard to their boredom or discomfort. I could ask, and most people would comply. But I'm talking about someone jumping out of the plane with an extra parachute for me kinda person.

I figured the cramp would go away in a bit of time and I could resume my work. I thought of what I might do later in the day. I was getting bored with this cramp and I wanted the whole ordeal to be over with, so I ventured to move. I was able to get up on hands and knees, and crawl over to the grass. I continued to lie there, slithered up the lawn chair (no good, back to the ground), so I lay there for about 15 minutes flipping over once. Each motion was painstaking.

Sometimes i think that I experience things in life to become a more well rounded person, though I don't believe in the whole 'things happen for a reason.' This experience was peripherally like that of a parapalegic. But I couldn't really get into it. I was bored, and by now, I knew this cramp was gonna last a while. I was gonna rest it up. The slight movements didn't seem to be helping; at least it wasn't time for that yet. I decided it'd be better to pass the time in my room. The bed was flatter than the bumpy grass, and I could sleep or watch tv.

Before going in, I had to turn off the incessant radio which was still rambling my no longer favorite tunes, put all the tools away, lock up the garage, climb the steps, take off my grass covered clothers and get into bed. Quite a challenge for someone lying on the ground not really able to turn on his side. But I believe laying there helped a bit, and with the aid of the fence I stood up - well, my feet were on the ground, and I was hunched over. I couldn't stand straight up because my lower back couldn't support it. Holding onto the fence I took a deep breath, and walked over to the garage. Put stuff away haphazardly, and locked the lock with one hand while holding myself up on the car.

I headed towards the house, and saw my gloves and dust mask on the floor. Holding onto the truck I bent a bit more and reached for the superfluous items. Then *BAM* pain! again! I couldn't stand on my feet. I dove to the grass belly down hoping that this position would help relieve the pain. But it didn't. It made it worse. WORSE. I grunted and shouted a bit. I lay there writhing, but I couldn't move anymore - it was a one shot deal.

After a few minutes, it again subsided. But this time it was worse. there was no hand and feet crawling or anything. My mother and brother came by, and asked me if i was napping. I told them the story, and they offered help - which I denied. My mother also tossed in her 2 cents about the cause being footbag. Kicking a man when he's down is what parents are good at. BTW, iw asn't playing footbag, I was crouching - it was a freak occurence.

After a while I made my way over, up, and up to my bed, fast forward some laying in bed, and a hot shower, and it's a bit better, but I'm still fucked up. Hopefully will be better tomorrow, and 100% in 2 days.

Man, I'm sorry Tom, I can definitely relate with how much that hurts and how incapacitating it can be. You should probably see a doctor if it doesn't start feeling better soon. The last time I threw my back out like that (it happened while I was driving on Lake Shore Drive 8O ) I went to the doctor pretty soon afterwards and he put me on a steroid (Prednisone maybe?) for a few days and it really helped. Hopefully it's just a freak spasm and it goes away quick. Rest up and good luck man.

Kicked by the park today. Rode bike up there. When I got home I saw I missed a call from Josh. That's like the third time I was plying footbag alone whilst he called. And here I am usually needing someone to play with.

Anywho, this old asian woman walked by a second time while I was kicking and was like, "Mag-uh-nets?" I said no, and let her try and she kicked it 3 tmies . She was frikkin old! Well maybe like 65. It was awesome. Must have played when she was young in asia.

3 chicks smiled at me. 1 whilst I was playing footbag, 1 riding my bike, and 1 while walking my dog. Bedroom eyes galore. The one while I was playing footbag, sat down at the next bench. It's a shame that 2 of em were polish immigrants, cuz I don't see us having a good conversation because of the language barrier. But they were hot, and the language of love does cross all barriers.

Hi Mathieu.

Some kid came up to me and we talked about footbag. He had really long hair back (unusual for such a young'n), was wearing skates and carrying a hockey stick. He said footbag looks like dancing when they're shooting at your feet. Several other kids said, "coooool."

2 smiles today. Those bitches are soooo lucky I restrain myself.

Yay! Thanks yall. Berry much. It was supposed to rain all day, but it held back for me. I had a great breakfast at this place I always wanted to go to. "Voted #1 breakfast. Been there since 1923 on Route 66 when it was first constructed." Then later at night saw Aziz Ansari from Human Giant in standup. Then some good spinach stuffed pizza with good friends.

Speaking of which, I love good friends that remember you on your birthday. Thanks again ya'll. Emily - you is coming up. I remember your shirt from June 6th 2004 - I didn't pay attention all day and it said - "It's my birthday." That's a great shirt. Will you rock it this year?

I was thinking of the perfect birthday party. I always like to have the most friends around. I know that it's hard to please everyone, and I hate it when going out to places, cuz lots of people don't like a certain place or its too far, or they cant find parking or whatever. Anyway, so I think it's be dope to have a nice party start in the afternoon with BBQ, and slip n' slide and twister and DDR and guitar hero maybe and maybe swimming pool, music, that bag game (that some of my friends have to hate on so I can't openly heart it), and a bunch of different things going on to keep people entertained. Then after copious amounts of enjoyment, go out to a place to dance/drink get hoochies, and maybe lapdances and casino depending on the posse and the hour and whether we got hoochies or not. All the while surrounded by people who care more about your special day then their entertainment, but at the same time don't ask what you want to do, cuz shit is already planned out well.

:-D I miss you.

I wished I had that shirt last year so when I went home in December I brought it back with me so I could wear it this year. It's kind of a waste because I've decided not to do anything for my birthday, just go out to dinner and maybe watch a movie at home, but I'll still be rockin the birthday shirt. Your birthday plan sounds completely awesome. You throw good birthdays. :-)

June 4th
??

June 5th

Yesterday: Reile, Zeke and I at Northeastern. We met some cool dude there. his name is Josh and he has good hair. He was actually very funny and told us a horrible story as well about a girl's snatch being torn open from a bike accident. Don't ask for details or for him to finish the story.
We hacked at the beginning. And sometimes hacking can be boring, but not with Z and R. It was so much fun. Then squares, then freestyle then TBK enchiladas.

I hit rubberman yay! Torque to p. egg or bubba egg (lol egg!). Also merlin>merlin! Take that haters. Also zulu osis BS. hit massacre again. gotta throw that into strings - its not that energy intensive (not hard) just not consistent right now. Hit a flip ripped warrior again. The first time in a long time was a few days ago with josh. I've tried to go back to back now.
~~~~~
June 6th
Today with Josh at Portage I hit gyro whirl BS and spinning whirl one side. Good sesh. keepin on playing with 2 people has GOT to be good for stamina. Kids came up again. Friggin mean ass evil kids when they're playing baseball, but otherwise nice to us and excited about footbag.
I hit drifter>gy mir BSOS. vortex bs after many tries. 5 contacts of rubberman. atom>atom.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

I've been playing a good amount lately but not training alone at all. Miami, depaul and lane with zeke. Oh on the way home we were riding bikes and it started riainnig. This girls ass was friggin GREAT. On the verge of too big. But she was hella cute.

Night jam with nathan and freddy (may they soar to new heights of freestyle).

hitting/trying pdx torques.

I'll save my miami stuff for a miami write up.

college tour soon (when school is in session).

Next post needs a pic - make it a good one!

edit: I hit flip spikehammer first time.
