Fire freestyle

So i used to hack with some friends using some flamable crochet bags and i decided to take them out tonight and give it a shot at freestyle

The runs are short and lame with a good trick or two. They are really hard to stall. My foot kinda catches on fire too.

The 2nd clip in the video was my favorite.

Good stuff. I liked that song for a short and fast video. I'm glad you filmed during the day so people can see what was going on much better.

Someone asked about busking in another thread. I think fire freestyle should be mandatory for busking.

The shred was good, and the fire made it nice and enticing, however I think there is something else in the video that struck me as useful.

It is 10x easier to see where the bag goes, in term of height and dexterity's, than any video I've seen before hand. Think of someone seeing a barfly for the first time. They just know that the person jiggles there foot and it magically ends up as a clpper. The fire really sticks the bag out so that you would be able to see when it went behind the calf, etc. Better than slo-mo I would think.

I would say we should use something like this for tutorials, like anz's videos, but then we'd likely have a bunch of irresponsible kids taking it the wrong way...

I have a few questoins:

1. DId your shoes take noticable damage or get marked by the bag?

2. What is the bag made of and soaked in?

3. How much easier would it be to play with that bag were it not on fire?

1. yea after multiple times doing this my shoes are black(er) and smell like fire. I would not try this with shoes that you care about. The shoes i was using were old g units whose stalling surface had ripped and i had retired. The left one's laces are a little messed up from catching on fire too

2. I am not sure exactly what it is made of but it works exactly like a candle that uses oil. The outside material is like the wick and when you soak it in paraffin (paraffin is the fuel for table candles and it doesnt really catch on fire too easily so much safer than gas or something stupid) the filler absorbs the paraffin and as it burns the outside wicks out the paraffin from the inside. i bought mine a while ago but the website now claims they can burn for about five minutes, mine only go for 2:30, but maybe theyve made improvements. 3. If you play when its relatively light outside it isnt too much harder to play with it on fire. At night its really hard cause its super bright and you cant tell where the bag is in that mass of flames. And if you set it mid chest hight the flames will be face high so sometimes you drop cause of that
