Grass is coming. I'll play for about 30 minutes tonight work pdx drifters or something. Ever since NYJ my drifters have been wack. I did them way too much and I pulled some weird muscle in my leg that I only use when doing drifters, so I didn't do drfiters for a month. It's a shame because drifters were kinda a huge staple in my game and they're my favorite concept I can do regularly.

So let me guess. You are going to be in Rochester all weekend for grass. The same weekend i come to Worthington, and wanted to hook up a session. Whatever, there's a couple skateparks in your area(i think). I'll skate all weekend instead of shred.
Have fun at GRASS!

Holy crap.

No way.

Now going to Grass is gonna be somewhat bittersweet. Playing footbag in Worthington with another person would be sooooo nice. I actually play near a skatepark sometimes, it's just a couple blocks from my house.

Why would you be coming to Worthington though, besides me.... there's not much here. Come here again soon!

My brother had a soccer tournament in Dublin.
The skatepark in Dublin was pretty crowded and didn't flow. But i liked the one in Worthington. It's too bad I missed you. Ah well, we'll catch up some time.

Man, you might've even driven past my house. I play on the tennis courts by that skatepark all the time.

Grass was a lot of fun. I think I played really well. Torques were on more so than usual. I was able to play out of them a bunch of times. Drifters were weak, but besides that everything was good.

I wasn't going to compete but Paul told me to so I did intermediate. I got first in Circle and Sick 3. In circle I only had two bad runs everything else was pretty good. In sick 3 I hit ripwalk>pdx drifter>torque. Looks like my intermediate competing days are over. I guess I'm pretty happy bout that. Saturday night and sunday were the best. There was a cool night spot and Paul, Josh Lewis, Mike Anello, Nate, and Dave were there with me. Dave just sat at the edge of the circle talking about ballslaw and Mike's grundles. I didn't have many good strings there cuz I was busy laughing.

On Sunday I was in a bunch of small circles which I really like. Will Digges is really good. I was playing with him a bunch. From around 12-2 the weather was really good so we went outside and played. I mostly sat in the grass and relaxed and it was so nice.

Highlights:
drifter x23
torque>infinity>rpt
6 contacts of drifter>pdx drifter

Time to do math.

props on the 23 drifters, i guess i missed it.

i think you are developing alot like i did/am: really drifter and torque heavy. so thats cool. i think you should throw in some symps, toe shuffle and dlos. maybe just branch out in general.

it was a lot of fun playing with you. you're a really cool guy too.

I appreciate the advise Nate. I think my next session will be focused on torques, spinning, and DLOs.

Hey man, it was really cool meeting you this past weekend at GRASS. Congrats on winning intermediate circle comp. It was a lot of fun just shredding with u on Sunday too, you've got some pretty crazy stuff on lockdown. Hopefully I'll see you again at another comp sometime.

Peace.

I haven't played since tuesday. I played pretty good then. Strong side spinning was on but flip still has some kinks. I hit a bunch of mistring torques which I was really really happy about. I was still sore from Rochester so I mostly did really long strings. I hit ducking osis bsos a couple of times. It's a fun move and the first time I'd tried it was in Rochester. I was too tired by the end to try DLOs. Maybe today.

I was planning on playing yesterday but there was a school carnival at my old elementary school. I decided I hadn't gone out in my bunny suit for a while and now was the time. If you didn't know, I bought a professional bunny mascot suit.

There it is. I've done so much funny stuff in it and just walking around in it is fun. Anyway, my mom dropped me off near the school and I get out and start walking. I walk all around the school, through it, pushing people out of my way that I know, and then right out.

I had talked with my friends for a long time about how cool it would be to have a bunny suit, however that was around 5 months ago so everyone has a vague idea that maybe the bunny was me. A lot of my friends have seen me in the suit and come up to me the next day raving about how someone stole my idea. It's too funny.

I wanted to go play tennis in the bunny suit with a friend and then have the friend challenge some other group to game of doubles. I've done it before, with hilarious results, but not with this friend. (Maybe I'll tell the tennis story when I have more time).

So I'm trying to get my friend to go out and play tennis and he's saying stuff like "I'm tired" "I can't do it, I'll start laughing" etc. So he wimped out on me so I dressed up in the suit and walked over to his house. He was out with his family and his dad saw me coming when he was in the car and pulled in the way of my friend so I could hide better. I snuck up and went into a dead sprint at him and he turned and screamed and almost started to run off. Hahaha.

I was then invited out to breakfast with his family as long as I wore the suit. So we went out and I just sat at the booth and got really sweaty, but it was pretty funny.

I wanna go to the grocery store next weekend and buy some carrots in it.

I played today, but not for very long. Just did some long strings. Tomorrow I'm gonna just play in my basement for about an hour and drill moves not any strings. Then I'm gonna go for a run.
