I thought that "me" literally meant you, Dan Feary. Clearly I was wrong, and you were talking about "me" metaphorically, as in "someone from the ghetto's of Atlanta or New Orleans or Houston."

I humbly apologise for making such an error, it was entirely my fault for misunderstanding, and I'll endeavour not to assume I know what you're talking about ever again.

Dude, this is why so many people say that you come off as smarmy and condescending. Read between the lines and understand the context of the conversation. This topic has nothing to do with how bad America is despite how much you want it to. I didn't mention my country once in the post you took issue with, and was simply trying to get across that it's wrong for people from other country's to be judging the rap music being put out by people who come from the places where hip-hop was created: Black ghetto's of The United States of America.

Maybe I took came off as condescending to King Monkey in my post, and I apologize for that, but it's lame that kids in here are saying what's being put out today isn't "real" rap because it doesn't sound like De La Soul, when really, most people in this topic don't know jack shit about rap music or hip-hop culture to begin with. That has nothing to do with being from Australia, because most people speaking heresay in here are from the US.

Second. I have no problems with Australian's commenting on what hip-hop is. I have problems with Australian's commenting on what hip-hop is not in an exclusionary manner.

Third. My opinion is no more relevent, and I never said that it was. The opinion of black's from black ghetto's creating black music of the rap genre, however, is more relevent. For someone from Australia to say that the music being created by people from the place where said music was founded, is not actually part of that particuliar genre, is heresay. Especially when that person is not backing it up with facts, and more or less saying that because it doesn't sound like what New Yorker's were making in the early 1990's, then it is not actually rap.

Fergie... sucks. I mean, come on, "Fergalicious"... says it all right there. She's a conceited asswipe. Completely full of herself, because she's not even that hot. And Wolfpac, you're till not making any sense. That didn't correspond with anything I ever said. My initial message was, that hiphop on the radio, has no taste, or message, and mostly speaks about things that are not actually important, such as money/drugs/sex. That's a fact. Whether MCR is disliked or liked, doesn't matter. They can play instruments, something none of those rappers can do. And they don't sing about money/drugs/sex. They mainly sing about teen drama, at least that's what I've gathered from how much I've payed attention. Which isn't COMPLETELY useless. Pretty dumb, but not entirely useless.

I don't know, 99% of people on here, and in real life seem to agree with me. Mainstream hiphop fuckin' sucks.

It's called music. Some people enjoy "stupid" rap because of the same reason you like MCR and Fallout Boy. You can never please everyone. Just don't worry about it if some dumbass makes a song about how hot he is or how big is cock is.

It was like driving into Iowa... Your cross the border, and you forget how to drive and go into a ditch, or on-coming traffic, and you FEEL the knowledge just, flee from your brain.

Anyone else just despise all these new wannabe rappers? I also really hate that "Money in the Bank" song... It's like, wow, congrats, you have money, who cares? You have no talent, so... what are you doing? It's so pointless. It's not even good music to dance to if you ever go to a really shitty place to dance...

Bah, it just pisses me off...
