Is Australia Better than America?
In America, where everything is grand, we can only muster 32 people dead in a gun shooting? That's nothing! Jeremy said that in the last Aussie gun massacre, they got 35!
So that got me thinking, maybe Australia really IS better that the US. . .
but then I read the rest of his post. It appears they've made it hard to own sweet-ass weaponry, so no longer can Australian's prove their country's awesomeness by increasing the numbers. therefore, I vote America is still the best.
"America, fuck yeah, freedom is the on-ly way yeah!"
Let's discuss.

I don't know much about life in the outback but it seems like it would be a grand old place to live, but i will still always live in America and always be an American, I don't think I could deal with living anywhere else, maybe Canada. Oh, Canada my home and native land, True patriot love, da da da da da (sorry I don't know the rest).

I've never lived in the outback but unless that's your sort of thing and you work on a big farm it sounds like a pretty boring place. Then again being a city-dweller since ever probably makes me a bit biased...
On the other hand, the OZ cities I've been to have been very nice and a great place to live in.

Americans don't smell bad... Just the fat ones... so like, 90%. Ok, so not ALL Americans smell bad, lol.Just call me hagesy wrote:i am pretty sure i dont want you wanky americans coming over to live here anyway. Youse will make the place smell bad.
I'd love to go visit Australia. I've always thought it'd be a really cool place to live. Though I doubt I could bring myself to live there (If I even had the money.), I still think it's pretty cool, from what I've seen on TV, movies, and what not.
I think the accents are hilarious. Not in a, you know, offensive way. Like... I don't like European accents, and I don't like Spanish accents. But I for some reason, just smile whenever I hear a Canadian, Indian, or Australian talk, it makes my day.
I'm assuming, that Australia is a Socialist country, or something close to it. And if my assumption is correct, then, it doesn't matter what the hell anyone says, Australia is better. Any country, that is Socialist, is better than the US.
You know what I don't like? I don't like how the US just assumes that whenever someone says, American, that they are referring to the people in the US. Canadians, the US, Mexico, all those lovely countries right below the Gulf of Mexico, they're all Americans too. Our country's name, is The United States of America (Or, The United States.), not America. So why do we call ourselves, Americans? That just bugs me.
Either way, I hope to move to a Socialist country, preferably in either the UK, or Australia, in my late twenties.
Jeremy, you don't always need to correct everyone. It's good that you know every useless piece of information in the world, and a lot of useful information, but seriously, you don't need to shove it down everyone's throat each time you get a chance. Does it really matter that he doesn't know that about 1% of Australia's population live in the "outback?" No, it doesn't. Were you going to go hungry because he didn't know this piece of information? No, you weren't. Was it really worth risking sparking an argument with him over it? No, it's not.

Australia is a socialist country in the same way America is a Nazi dictatorship.

All that did was confuse me. Is Australia Socialist (Or something like it) or not?Jeremy wrote:Switch Kicker wrote:lolJust call me hagesy wrote: I'm assuming, that Australia is a Socialist country, or something close to it.
