Australians are grossly superior to Americans. Just ask one and they'll tell you.

I'm just kidding. I think this little culture war is really stupid. Jeremy likes to point out how Australia is bettter than the US because it's what he knows. Everyone else likes to argue about it because of some ridiculous sense of pride in a country that is in a serious downturn. 30 years from now we'll all look at the atomic snowball effect of this little topic and just sit back and laaauuuugggghhhh.

Does that matter? Yes I'm enlisted. That doesn't mean I'm the grandfather of all knowledge like Jeremy is. Being enlisted doesn't mean that I instantly gain all the knowledge there is about everything military related in the world. I don't know if Australia has an active military, I've heard Canada only has a volunteer program, that's even less active then the National Guard, which is pretty inactive unless activated for deployment. I just don' t know. I know a small amount on the UK's involvement, and our involvement. That's it. I mean, every country has some form of military, obviously. I just didn't know if they have an active one. I mean, the US has Army, ARNG, Air Force, Navy, etc. etc. The ARNG however isn't exactly active (normally). They're more, on call, you know? But we're in wartime, so we're active a lot more than we would be if we were in peace-time. But like, the Army, and the Navy and whatnot. They're full-time. They don't just get together once a month like the ARNG. Military is their actual job.

But you know, I should've known this... I met a guy in Fort Benning, GA 2 years ago that was entering the active Army. He was a former Australian sniper of some sort. He had some pretty cool stories. Was a bad ass too. He whooped the shit out of a Drill Sgt. We were all having a GFT (ground fighting) tournament, and it ended up being the Aussie and a 19 year old that had been doing crazy fighting techniques since he was a child. The 19 year old won. Didn't remember this until just now though.

yeah' reminds me of an end of the world toon i saw online. every country was fighting cept for australia. the just had a kangaroo sitting in the open with a text bubble over its head, "wtf mate?" lol.

Guys... Look into the ANZUS treaty... Malaya, Korea, Vietnam, Afghanistan, Iraq. Sheesh.
