Nice stuff Cassy, this is the first time I've checked this blog out but it looks like you're improving really fast.

Hey Oshawa! I'm glad to see another footbag club on the map... you three must be happy to be in one of the best areas for footbag in the world. Ontario's scene is one of the best that has ever existed.

I would like to invite you all to the 3rd annual GRASS that we're hosting in Rochester, NY in conjunction with the 30th RIT Juggle-in. It's a world class juggling convention and a major footbag event that will feature dozens of players of all levels.

Please consider coming... we are trying very hard to get a large attendance. We are on the other side of Lake Ontario, only about a 3-hour drive. Since you are so close to Toronto and Kingston, maybe you can all work together to make sure everyone can come down. :D

CASSY! :D I'm proud. Like a father would be. Except I'm not your father. That would be a little sketchy. I think... That by the end of the summer, you'll probably be near my level, and that will be awesome. & you'll pwn most of the ladies out there. 8) Your tiltless moves have become really consistant, you should start throwing in some more legovers and ATWs for some extra variation. Before I went to change I saw your attempt at DATW, those dexes looked pretty sick.

So Andrew and I had an okay session in my basement last night (except for the fact that Andrew ate way too much before hand and made himself sick). Nothing overly exciting except for the fact that I hit rev whirl for the first time. I was struggling with whirl and it was pissing me off so andrew was like "try reverse whirl" so I did and after about 6-8 tries I was able to hit it. After practicing for a bit I was able to hit it BSOS too!

A couple highlights:
~clipper>far legover>clipper>ss legover rpt
~rev whirl>mirage>legover>clipper>rev whirl

It might actually be nice enough to have an outdoor session this evening.

Happy 18th Birthday Jenna!! :D

Hey Oshawa crew! Good news!

FAT is willing to plan a road trip out to play with you guys!
We should work out a Saturday that appeals to everyone and you tell us the place; we'll be there!

Make sure all three of you are there. We can't wait to play with you guys again!

That would be totally rad! This should happen soon, once it gets a little warmer.. I'm pumped. (there aren't really any indoor places around here, so it will have to be in warmer weather) Dinner time, we'll get back to this later =P

Now that I think about it, it isn't THAT cold out, as long as we get a sunny day. You guys should get back to us with a convenient weekend and it can almost certainly be worked out!

I personally can't do this upcoming Saturday. I work. I'll try and get the next one off. It should work out.

I'll drive us if I'm able to play the day we decide on.

Ahh shitty. Just let us know here when you can make it, as many of you as possible! A FAT visit just wouldn't be a FAT visit without Josh in attendance too!

So had a pretty lame session tonight at the Y with Andrew. For some reason I just couldn't put any very good strings together :?

Had a couple okay highlights
~ Osis BSOS
~ PS Mirage BS (first four ever :) )

I also hit illusion for the first time.. which is pretty lame, but it's basically the only tiltless move i have trouble with now.

Umm.. thats about it
Can't wait till weed march!!

Props on your first 4 (both sides!!) My first 5 was ducking ps mirage :) (I don't think I remember my first 4...may have also been ps mirage...or ducking butterfly...)
Your game was looking so solid at the beach! Your style is really smooth too. I really dig your smooth, last-minute pickups -- I could never tell half the time if you caught it or not. The rev whirls make me happy too :D
I look forward to shredding with you both again at Weed March! Get enough sleep this time, Andrew :p

Had my first half-decent session this evening with andrew in my basement. I've played a few times the past few days but they've only been short sessions and I haven't really played well. But today I finally started to play a bit better and I worked on drills and some other stuff:

~DLO (finally.. a few times each side)
~Symp. Mirage>Butterfly>Rev. Whirl>Pdx. Mirage
~Clipper>Rake
~Butterfly>Rev. Whirl>Osis
~Butterfly>Pdx. Mirage rpt.

Hmm.. I guess thats about it. I'm pretty happy about the DLO's though, I've been trying them for a few sessions now and haven't been able to hit it until today.

4 days till weed march  Gotta start resting up my muscles soon.
