at school, i used adobe premiere and Avid xpress pro, Avid is WAY better than premiere, but nor as user frindly ... right now, i use adobe premiere pro 2 and adobe element. imo both suck if i compared them to avid. ill have to work on vegas 7 soon, caus my cam format is avchd (i got the hdr-sr1 from sony) and even if the cam is out for 6 - 7 month, there is like 1 f*cking program which can edit this format, but vegas 7 will have it :D, i found a program who had it but when you download the sampler, the company didnt put the codec :-/

anywya, i prefer avid to all the editing programs that i know (for the moment) but id like to give a try to final cut. I made only 1 lab on after effect, id liek to try it again too
