Post your thoughts about the draft!

Personally i think the packers picked a bunch of "safe" players, which means they picked no one who stood out in college, which again translates into a shittacular draft.

The browns made out like bandits, Oakland also did well, picking up Russel and Michael Bush.

I didn't watch it but I heard a record 7 BSU players made it to the NFL. That's awesome for Idaho. Corey Hall went to the Packers. Be grateful Henry!!

the broncos filled a few of their needs, so all in all even though we only got lineman, it was a good draft for us. but how bout them raiders? jamarcus russel, michael bush, then they go and get rid of russel's biggest weapon for a fourth rounder...lucky patriots

Yeah, Brown's got super-lucky. I wonder how Quinn will do a few years from now. I never really liked him.

I bet Moss will do pretty well with the Patriot's. Maybe not though. He is old. Still, a good trade for both teams. He was a distraction in Oakland and would've continued to be one because it isn't like Oakland is going to win 14 games next year and he'll stop complaining. If they do win 14 games, it will be because Moss isn't there. Still, Belichek won't allow his antics, and their should be less of them anyways since he's with the fucking Pat's now. Most winningest team of the last 10 years I'd imagine.

Seahawk's got a Defensive Back and some other defensive player (Forget what posistion). We also traded our top reciever to the 49er's, but he's had serious injury problems for the last few years so we'll see how it turns out. Besides, Seahawk's are stacked at WR level with Branch, Engram, Hackett, Burlison.

The only thing you can count on from Moss is he'll draw double coverage, which is enough, really. Especially when you think about how the Patriots already spread the ball around and take a lot of low-yardage, high percentage plays.

On topic - I know nothing about the draft. I don't watch enough college ball to really be informed, plus it seems like so much hype & high expectations that are so often not lived up to.

Dude, Cleveland had the best Draft. Im a Lions fan and its hopeless but, we picked up the best guy in the draft in Calvin Johnson.

What makes you think Calvin Johnson won't be another huge Lions receiver bust? Why dont they get a quarterback to throw to these receivers? kitna isnt going to last forever

drew stanton didnt do anything spectacular in college, and he was from Mich St, in the Big Ten. Other than Oh State, Michigan, and UW, the big ten is cup cake city. Considering michigan state never made it to a major bowl with Stanton, and he never had great numbers, why do you say he is going to be a good player? John Stocco, the badgers quarterback put up better numbers and a MUCH better record than Stanton, and he didnt even get drafted (at least, not in the first few rounds, to my knowledge.)

First of all Henry, I don't know what you're talking about because UW is a fucking cupcake team, and has been for the last few years. Second of all, Stanton has a pretty decent arm and from the few games I've watched him play, a lot of field smarts. Just because he didn't make it to a major bowl means absolutely jack shit in how he will fair in the NFL. From what everyone's saying he's a great leader and teammate too.

Stocco is sick though too.

ryan leaf did great in college, tom brady was unheard of, but right now i'm sure if i was offered either one of the two i'd take tom brady on my team. my point being, what you did in college doesnt matter when you get to the pros, all that matters is what you do in the pros. thats the thinga bout the nfl draft that makes it unpredictable when it comes to the outcome.

on the other hand, junkyardjew, the saints got walter thomas through free agency.

Ok see Mr Charles Rogers came from a soft school in Michigan State, a school that has never produced a standout wide reciever. Mike Williams didnt play for a year after he left USC. You also might want to check last season's stats before you ramble off a name like Roy Williams, in made the pro bowl and was 4th in the league for most Receiving yards, and the top 4 players were separated by less than 60 yards in Receiving. I understand out of those 3 he is the only decent player, but wait and see Calvin Johnson is the next Randy Moss.
