Second of all, why would a hospital take away someones tv and other items of comfort? They let criminals have these things in REAL jail right? Simple logic will give you the answers. Notice the article uses the words "he said"....this obviously means that the journalist has been nowhere near the man! Its easy to see how this possible dramatization would be good for the news outlet (more subscribers, readers) and for the man (sympathy). If this man was actually under these conditions, there would be a legal intervention and possible lawsuit. A lawsuit would possibly get this man hundreds of thousands of dollars, and unless his acusations were groundless, he would surely proceed.the article none of you read wrote:He said sheriff's deputies will not let him take a shower -- he cleans himself with wet wipes -- and have taken away his television, radio, personal phone and computer.
Another possibility is that the man (who has show his irresponsibility by not following the orders of his doctor by not taking percautions with his illness) is so enraged by his confinement that he has been violently throwing things about his cell. Thats the only reason REAL criminals and even mental patients have their personal effects removed during their confinement. I just think that there would be no reason to imprison this man and to take away his entertainment unless he had brought it upon himself.
