Hey FAT,

I might be doing some busking in Hamilton before heading down to TO Saturday to cover the bus ticket and stuff. I might be a little tired, but not tired enough to not bust.

I'll bring some new Mr. Sandbags and copies of my basics DVD along. Anyone interested?

Yeah I'm interested in some bags, my cuddles are injured...the DVD - I dunno, maybe, so bring one and I'll c if i wanna purchase.

Session at the Library with me and nathan. We both had set out seemingly impossible goals at the beggining, he wanted to beesauce legover and i wanted to beesauce symp mirage. After much trying, some random passer byers clapping and one even stopping for a few min, we finally hit our goals. I hit it late in the session, after 1 hr, and Nathan hit his much earlier. I've had some really bad calves recently and the long toe-toe strings have been really killing it. I've taken that time to work on my clippers and I have gotten much better. Well, until Saturday!!

I'll get there at around 11:30-12:00 in the ideal.

Hey guys!

Weeeeeeed maaaarch!!

Also, I was thinking about it. You shouldn't add a forum to your FAT website for you to discuss when to meet and shred because then nobody would post anything in here. BAZING! :P  :P Just playing!

Miss you guys, see you soon. :)

Holy fuck I am excited.

I'll be there early this year. No joke, actually early. I'm sick of arriving RIGHT before the march starts and then either going on the march and missing out on pre/during-march footbag, or missing the march and kicking instead (which I did last year). I'll be there between 10-11. LOTS of people will be there long before 2. The head shops and shit set up their booths and whatever and sell stuff, people chill and and hack and smoke... the whole park is basically a cloud of smoke... And then we'll march (it SO doesn't take 2 hours and 20 minutes, that's a load of shit. Stoners aren't THAT slow) and come back for more shred (though I'm sure most of you will continue to play right through the march) and then at 4:20 everyone goes nuts, but they chill at the park 'til much later. We're usually there until it's too dark to play.

Who of you haven't been to the march before?! Let's see how many weed-march-virginities will be lost this year!

Afterwards we will party somewhere! Yes?

It's going to be amazing wicked awesome good. This is my 4th march! Woo!

Everybody loves me :D

Yeah, I'll most likely be there. I've been offered a job from the end of May to the end of July, so that kind of anchors me in place. The only thing is that I'm going to tell them I will need to end early.... for WORLDS

Oh, I'm a Weed March virgin too.

Erik you haven't been to worlds? That suprises me after all of those years under your belt! You must be pretty pumped for Florida! I'm pretty sad that you're going to be leaving, you're definitely one of my favourite people to shred with... :( But I'm looking forward to weed march guys, this will be my first time as well, it should be pretty fun!

No weed march for me. The most boo thing in the entire world. There seems to be no way I can get out of my shift at work, and now I've talked to the management, there's no way in hell they'll believe I'm sick tomorrow. I hope you guys have good shred, If there's anyone whose legs haven't gone numb by then, I'll try to be there for 630, just to see if anything's still happening... You guys have fun.

Sorry, I had to wallow in self pity, just for a bit, only cause no one else can possibly understand why this could get me down so much.

Call me a hater, but footbag really is a weird obsession.

Aww Sam, that sucks man. I'll still be there at 6:30 though, til much later, so come by FOR SURE. I miss you! Haven't seen you in so long and all those attempts at meeting up at Christmas time just never worked! I'll see you tomorrow!

Oh yeah, if while at the march anyone has questions about things in the area, like washrooms, restaurants, etc.- please don't be afraid to ask me. I know the area horribly well... I went to U of T last year and it surrounds the park. So please do ask if you need anything!!

See you all tomorrow!! :D :!:

Weed March was awesome :)
I didn't really like the weed march part, though.

There were so many people -- it frustrated and angered me. I think lots of people is pretty much the thing I hate and fear the most in the world. You couldn't even shred without knocking into someone... it was stupid, except at some awesome times when people made circles around and cheered and stuff (which was conversely really neat-o!)

I'm soooo tired. Here was my day in a as few words as possible:
-about 5 hours of sleep (too excited for hacky!!)
-7 hours of footbag? (which resulted in a sunburn that I didn't notice until later)
-actual hacking
-waiting 45 minutes for food
-glowhack hack (Jorden hit nemesis with a glowhack, by request pour moi...)
-4 hours scrubbing down my kitchen

Now it's 4AM and I get to finally have a hot bath and get barely any sleep again for a super buys day :(

Here are some highlights of the day for me, before I forget. I'd also like to write a nicer thingy some time, but probably won't have time. So here are some fond memories:
-A lot of green FAT shirts!!
-Seeing Paul Toews
-A super nice bag in the exact colours I wanted, from Pengpeng and Tom!!
-(Seeing Pengpeng and Tom!)
-Johnny being really nice
-watching Jorden invent stuff as usual. I was in a "circle" just him and me for a little bit and it was hardcore. He hit like, backside nemesis, and torch-r-rack swirl, tried triage > DOD [repeat], double blender > double spinning clipper, double ducking clipper + double diving clipper BSOS...and more madness, of course. I filmed about 5 minutes because there were too many people to see anything.
-Ben Roscoe is AWESOME, and SUUUPER smooth!!
-A water bottle from Zach Forth(?) -- water was SO scarce to come by, and my mouth was just paste, and he just tossed me a bottle like it was nothing!! He also gave me an apple that felt SOOOO good to eat later on :)
-Jon Haber funny and lighthearted as always
-The Lackey circle!!
-Missing Mike hit atom smasher twice in the same run??
-Johnny hit nuclear ducking swirl and lots of other styley stuff, and non-stop unique shuffle (and saying that he wants to visit me over the summer :))
-The shredita circle that never happened?
-Hugging, like, everyone :D
-What else? Who else was there -- so many footbaggers!!
-Jorden's creative hack circle moves!
-Seeing some non-footbag friends briefly that I may never see again
-The thing Camille said about my muffin wrapper sitting on the ground.
-Seeing and hanging out with everyone else!
-Being mad with Camille about our food coming 45 minutes after Mike and Jorden had already finished
-Random hackers joining circles and respecting the no-feet-pickup rule
-TONS of other stuff.

I'm so happy!!
I just relived it, and the crappy kitchen-cleaning feelings are gone.
I wanna see the pictures from those guys with cameras...and find out if there are YouTube videos from today taken by non-footbaggers... how do you find that sort of thing?

The End.

As if I just made the biggest post ever and it's not showing up :(

EDIT: Nevermind -- it's there.
EDIT 2: Oh yeah! We forgot to take the group photo at the end!!! Luckily I snapped a semi-candid one (except without me, I guess)

Nice post, Erik - great highlights! It was so nice to see everybody all together. I could even see Sam's ghostly image in a haze of smoke that loomed over the park!

Now, let's start thinking about the Montreal Spring jam (June 1 - 3). Who wants to go? I'm gonna try and get time off work for this. Montreal is wicked!

Fatties! Right now it Coach Canada seems to be running a deal for $10 tickets to Montreal from Toronto! In fact, I'm about to call them about it right now.

<3 Tam-tam. I hope as many people as possible can go. I'll definitely be at Montreal Jam!

Mike, you already know, I'm SOOO going to Montreal!!! Let's do it up. Peng, that deal sounds too good to be true. Please say it is so.

Weed March was AMAZING! I had so much fun, I feel like I'm still in shock about it all.

For me it was a tough day though... I was hungover as hell, my best friend left for Europe (which was why I was so hungover), I spent like 2 hours trying to get over 2 hundred flyers printed, showed up later than I wanted to, my shred was shit (probably due to the hangover and the MOUNDS of people elbowing me in the back during my runs and the MOUNDS of people watching and making me nervous and the fact that I just suck haha)... and I felt torn between shredding and socializing with all the friends that stopped by & the shredders on break. Erik I know what you mean- Dan and I were dicussing how all the people sucked, but at the same time, they are what makes it awesome. You guys got some serious crowds, people were really impressed. It definitely does a lot for the sport. Adam Greenwood learned about Freestyle at the Weed March!!! And look at what he can do now! :)

It was amazing to see all the FAT shirts!! When I saw Paul Toews he was like "Camille! There are FAT shirts everywhere! Did I not have dreams of this?" It made me smile.

A lot of shredders came out, even if they didn't play. It was awesome. I am going to attempt to list them all:

-Me
-Mike Faille
-Adam Greenwood
-Erik Chan
-Josh Lackey
-Joel Lackey
-Hanna Lackey
-Jon Haber
-Jorden Moir
-Johnny Suderman
-Alex Venis
-Dan Cyr
-Ben Roscoe
-Andrew Langstaff
-Cassy Taylor
-Tom Mosher
-Pengpeng Du
-Zack Forth
-Paul Toews
-Paul Agostonelli
-Chris Dean
-Vida Shredita!

22. Not a bad turnout! Am I missing anyone? Paul & Chris showing up totally caught me off guard! What a wicked surprise! :D

Anyway, I had a blast. The glow shred later at night was a lot of fun... my legs were mad at me but the video looks really cool. I'll edit whatever I have together (I didn't film much and I took 3 photos the entire day) and share it with you guys.

Big thanks to everyone who came. It was the best Weed March so far! Next year is the 10th anniversary and it's going to be packed. I'm going to get in touch with the organizers and set up our own place to play, do some demos, and sell bags & videos. I should have done it this year but I was way too busy. Next year for sure. I can't wait!

So... who wants to shred this week?
