random thoughts:
Butler's accent kept sneaking in... I half expected him to break into the Braveheart speech a bout taking their lives but not their freedoms.
Anyone else recognize Eudoras from the film Troy (playing pretty much the same part) and Faramir from Lord of the Rings? Or even the pro wrestler?
I felt really fat after watching this movie. Fuck, even the old people were ripped!
I really hated the rhino scene
I wonder why Miller chose to go without body armor.
The scene with the arrows cracked me up.
Loved the war cry... reminded me of playing Age of Empires, when you built the academy so you could train hoplites
Weird stances:
-Xerxes, when his mobile throne aproaches Leonidas
-Xerxes again striding down the stairs when Ephialtes betrays the greeks
-Stelios, near the end, after jumping off his king to skewer that one dude

It was good.
However, they spent like half the movie basically ranting about how cool sparta is. Ok, I get the message, lol. They definately overdid that bit.
Oh and when the dude goes 'I never got to tell him I loved him'. That was just uncalled for. Most of the movie portrayed spartans as ruthless, unemotional people, then they had to throw that soppy line in.
But yeah, I liked the movie, it was good.
