i forgot to say something

good news for beer lovers !! there is the "mondial de la biere" in Montreal during the days of the comp, ill go there for sure, i went to this beer festival in 2004 and there was all the micro-breweries of the province of quebec with alot of nice food too .. saussages (spelling?? :-/ ), rare meat like duck ... alot of cool stuff. there will at least 100 kinds of beer to taste ... if my memory is still good, you can buy tickets to take your choice but a beer can go from 1 to 5 tickets

who's with me ??

ill try to answer all the question about it. ill just have to ask my old boss (his sister is the president of the festival)

Hi Julien,

I doubt Tom would pass this beer tasting up. I'm pretty interested too. :)

Hey everyone, it seems Coach Canada is running some kind of deal to Montreal. $10 a ticket from Toronto. We should get more FAT to come! I'll try to convince them today. :)

Some of us from Toronto can make it to this! (I just secured the time off today). Camille, Alex Venis, me, and possible others can come - especially if that $10 train ride is the real deal!

Hey Julien!

I am all in for the beer tasting. Is it near the Bay again? I can't wait for this trip to meet all of you guys and gals of freestyle footbag. I hope I learn more than I can handle.

I will bring your bag with me when I get there Julien.

I will not be renting the condo for my stay, but will be getting a hotel for my B-Day. You folks are more than welcome to come crash it, as long as you are of drinking age :D

I get to Mtl on the 27th. It is going to be so much warmer there than here! Only -14C or so today. Gotta love that spring weather.

someone told me NOW you need a passport to cross into canada even by roadway (in the past months its been that only if you were flying into canada was a passport necessary, but if you drove in it wasnt--i know this for a fact because i drove through ontario with my parents between christmas and new years). im not positive if its true or not (i suspect it isnt, ie a passport is not necessary if driving/taking a bus), im sure someone knows, or i can find out online for myself.

edit-- forget it i found the information myself. im sure others will be interested

quoted from:
Under the Western Hemisphere Travel Initiative (WHTI)
Beginning January 23, 2007, ALL persons, including U.S. citizens, traveling by air between the United States and Canada, Mexico, Central and South America, the Caribbean, and Bermuda will be required to present a valid passport, Air NEXUS card, or U.S. Coast Guard Merchant Mariner Document, or an Alien Registration Card, Form I-551, if applicable.

As early as January 1, 2008, ALL persons, including U.S. citizens, traveling between the U.S. and Canada, Mexico, Central and South America, the Caribbean, and Bermuda by land or sea (including ferries), may be required to present a valid passport or other documents as determined by the Department of Homeland Security. While recent legislative changes permit a later deadline, the Departments of State and Homeland Security are working to meet all requirements as soon as possible. Ample advance notice will be provided to enable the public to obtain passports or passport cards for land/sea entries.

so if you're flying in you need a passport, if not you dont. but you will need at least a birth certificate and/or drivers license. i recommend having both, as i will.

 that's cuz it's fun to insult you, Nick. I think I'll come to Montreal JUST so that I can beat you up again.

Seriously though, I am super excited!
