legs in pain
legs in pain
this isn't really footbag related, but whatever it can be applied to footbag or something. i've been having this really bad pain in both of my legs because of track and/or field. they feel very weakish and it hurts to walk or run. the pain is mostly an on/off kinda thing and it only starts hurting whenever i run or walk at a fast pace. i've tried icyhot, regular ice, bandages, stretching more, resting more, you name it. the pain just doesn't go away. and because it's a highschool sport, we practice every day nonstop except for the weekends (which of course is when we have our meets). i try to rest my legs but on monday they still hurt. i've been taking around 3-4 advil a day and it only helps temporarily. is there anything whatsoever that i can do to reduce the pain anymore besides taking more advil or quitting (since theres only a month left)?
ok i've kinda located the source of the pain, it's on the outside of my lower leg, kinda by my calf. are there any stretches or anything that can strengthen it or stretch it? i can kind of stretch it out if i raise my toe and point my knee inwards, but it's in such a weird place that it's really hard to stretch, and not only that but when it hurts the rest of my leg kills, and it's not too easy to walk or run with.

it's a sore muscle, not shin splints. it's not really by my shin, it's closer to my calf. i've got icy hot which is like the retarded younger brother of tiger balm. massaging it, using icyhot and taking hot baths has helped a lot. i never would have thought that my legs would have hurt so badly just from soreness in that spot.
edit: what i shouldve added to that post is that toe taps and calf raises don't help much for my condition.
