In response to the space issue......I'm bringing sidewalk chalk. Can you say "Footbag Zone"? 8)

Erik, will you be swinging by the Snail for free comic book day too on Saturday?? Every year the sale is pretty darn good but the lineups are insane.

Everything seems to be happening on Saturday!

K, this non-Torontonian is gonna need the following info:

1. Phone numbers -- lots and lots of phone numbers.
2. The approx. area of Queen's Park North you guys are meeting
3. A rough timeline as to where you'll be throughout the day. (Like, how would I find you guys during the actual March??)
4. The plans for when it starts getting dark
5. If we're gonna sell some random bags and stuff, could someone bring a little table?

Hey, will this be the biggest Ontario freestyle get-together ever?? Hot damn. 8O

Mine is 647 880 0848.
We wil be playing in the centre of the Park near the statue. The Park isn't so big that you will have trouble finding it. Follow the hippies.
People will be there as early as 11am, and later than 7pm. Most of us will be playing right through and will skip the march.
I don't know the night-time plans. I'll be leaving around 8, but I know people will be up for hanging out till late.
I don't know about a table. Security has been extremely easy going in the past, but I wonder if they would have a problem with us not being licensed vendors. That said - who wants one of my tshirts? They're going for 10 bucks each!

My phone number is:

416 825-6082
See everyone tomorrow.

(Peng, maybe if we need a break sometime during the day, any comics people could go check out FCBD together :) I remember looking at what's going to be available (free) a month ago-ish... I've never actually been -- Marita's only ever picked up books for me :p)

So I received a call from the mean lean green (now with less toxic emissions!) shred machine chris dean at about 8:45, effectively waking me up from my 4th or 5th hour of sleep to inform me that we'll be showing up to this around noon or 1. Holy shit the players list for this is awesome!!

Unfortunately to cut down on food and other expenses, however, we'll be heading back to the states when dusk hits, but this is gonna be the sweetest toronto day trip ever!

Can't wait to see all you people who didn't come to Grass

What a fucking event!

Skippy and I just sat there wasted with exhaustion and just an overall sense of being somewhat overwhelmed.

It's really impossible to express to people the scenario of Weed March. People probably envision like.. some hippies walking down a downtown street or something... Oh god... definitely not just that.

Hopefully some of the video that was caught will give a better idea of how nuts it was.

I will do my best to blog the day!

Yeah, the day was exhausome! (Exhausting-awesome). Here are some pics that don't quite capture how crazy it was.

Suderman, Jon Haber and Joel Lackey, I believe:
