I started stitching footbags and have gotten quite good at making them, with Tom Mosher's help.
Anyway, and ALL my bag have come out with jagged edges. Is my gather or tension too great?..I'm using a running stitch and my bags have been good enough to sell, which i have done and made quite a sum of cash off of.
How can i make it so that the panels of the 322's i make are falt and striaght, not jagged and wrikly like mine
i cannot post a picture, no digital camera, but the edges aren't nice and straight, thet are kinda wavy and wrinkled like i pulled way too hard on the gather.
Another is that one of the stitches that form the 'corner' of the pent is not as adequate as the adjacent stitch. Once you can even and straighten those stitches, you can make sharp and even corners worthy of making the pentagon 'look' like a pentagon. I hope this helps.
