Meh, I really think most people on here are assholes. BenRea, JR Stubs, whoever. In fact, the only people on here that AREN'T assholes are the Euros, Montrealers, etc. It'd be cool if they even just made their own forum, but of course they're smart enough to not even look at the Kicking Circle or the Discussion Forum, let alone threads like this. It's kinda cool how they can get the most out of this place and still keep their dignity. I've yet to see any American on this forum duplicate that, including myself.

It's probably just a sense of humor difference.

I tell a lot of jokes people don't laugh at,
but almost everyone laughs at you.

very generic answer, but i actually did not once claim to be a respectful, friendly individual.
there just clearly isnt a measurable difference between the way americans act and the way euros or canooks do.
have you read some of kamil whatshisface's critiques of videos? there are examples of rudeness on every continent.
do you even know how old i am?

Everyone in the world is an asshole. It's just to what extent that you are, and to what extent that people demonize others. Ethnicity has nothing to do with how kind or how rude you are, stereotypical classification like that only helps to fuel the fire for ignorant generalizations.

However, it's better to be a smart ass than a dumbass in my opinion

That's the most intelligent response I've heard today. Someone that admits that people are fallible. It's just annoying when people on this forum think they're bigger than others. Henry's posted rude shit before. Those other guys, sure they're probably annoying, but no more so than half the people on here who've been here for a few years.

But really, I gotta say. The Euros not only kick our ass in footbag, but just common courtesy and consideration as well. You just don't get the asshole posts from them that you do from many of the American posters on here.

Even Setman, yeah he calls THE on half the vids that come out, but it's not done in a mean-spirited sort of way. And when you call him on it, he's like 'what, I'm sorry but I'm a stickler for form, etc.' That's not being an asshole, that's being honest.

I think that's why people think I'm an asshole. Because I'm being honest about a situation. Instead of not confronting it, like most people on modified do.

Aye, lots of people consider me as a huge asshole. It's mainly because I have the balls to tell the truth about things that I see. I'm not afraid to hurt some-one's feelings if it means telling the truth. I won't go out of my way to bash them of course, but I will let them know what's going on.

Really the most hilarious part about the whole thing is how Henry calls out two fairly new guys for being lame or whatever, but has he stepped to Dan Feary ONCE for the innumerable rude, offensive, and unintelligent posts he has made? No one does. People just cheer Dan on until his thread gets moved to the Discussion section.

I swear it's hive mentality. Learn to think for yourselves people seriously. Just cuz Dan's a jerk, doesn't mean everyone else has to be.

Dan didn't go out of his way to gum up other people's threads that might have actually had something to do with footbag, he mainly stayed in the Kicking Circle and Discussion area.

My point was: Hey, fellow American posters, let's try to be more like the Europeans, and try to go out of our way to be considerate to others, and make threads that aren't offensive, etc. like the Europeans are apparently so much better at doing.

Why does that warrant so much hatred from other posters? How come people love Dan for being an asshole, but hate me for just trying to better the modified environment? It's like I'm in some sort of alt universe sometimes haha.
