See you in July guys, cuz I'm leaving, on a jet plane, and this time I know exactly when I'll be back again. Have a great May and June, and shred hard. :D

<EDIT> Bye Adam! FAT will be much thinner until your return. See you soon.

I want to shred this week, damnit!

Since Erik is leaving in a few days we were planning on having one last night shred Tuesday at 9:30 pm. He'll have to confirm that as he may be too busy packing to have time. There are great night spots around the Skydome (near his house). Let's do it!

Appart from that my usual crappy work schedule applies. I can play mornings and nights.

Beach shred this weekend? I'm entertaining my Brother all weekend, so I can't play super long, but I can squeeze in an hour or three.

I JUST got the time off for Montreal Spring Jam!! I'm going for sure! I have friday June 1st, the Saturday the Sunday and Monday off (for recovery)! LETS DO THIS! I would rather take the train than rent a car - as I almost DIED last time I tried to drive in downtown Montreal. That 10-dollar deal sounds like a dream...

You gain Tom and Pengpeng for the summer! Why doesn't someone rent a car and we can haul a bunch of Toronto area shredders to Montreal?

Mike, were you planning on booking a room at the UQAM?

Well we should book space at the UQAM for sure, it just depends on how many people are coming. We could get a 3 bedroom suite or the 8 one... we stayed there for worlds, it's pretty sweet... and cheap!

Bye Adam!
Good luck treeplanting. Don't forget to stop by Winnipeg on your way home.

I can't believe I'm going to miss hanging out with Tom and Peng ALL SUMMER :(

Anyway, yeah, I made a list of everyone who showed up at Weed March in my blog, and I think I got everyone just the same, except I forgot Vida, but I only saw her REALLY briefly.
Umm...I'm not sure about tomorrow night yet. I totally spent, like, FIVE HOURS STRAIGHT looking for a simple box for my stupid, big, old computer monitor. I finally got one and it cost me, like, $15 and it's beat-up to shit, 'cause it was the last one at, like, the 20th store we tried. I have so many last-minute things to do tomorrow, and this will also be the last time I will see my girlfriend for a while, so we may have to do something special instead. I'll, like...I dunno. I'll let Mike know anyway, since we have to trade some stuff up anyway, and whatnot.

Ok, no problem, Erik. Just let me know when the best time to trade back comics and say our goodbyes is!

As for renting a car for Montreal - I could do that - once we come up with a plan and I get a head-count. UQAM sounds good. I like the individual bedrooms! Classy.

BYE ADAM AND ERIK!!!

If you guys are thinking about renting a car to go to Montreal, Andrew and I might be interested in hitching a ride if we can afford it. Maybe get a van if there are enough people? I know you can rent 12 seaters for fairly reasonable prices.

All of you, go to Oakville and buy as many bags as humanly possible from Tom or something, I am SO excited for him!

That, and I can't wait to play with you guys this summer. I'm thinking about getting a train ticket from my town to Toronto so I can come as often as possible. I really want to be a proud owner of one of those green shirts!

Aw, I wanna go to Hackrifice. I hope I can save up for it!

I'm gonna mmmmiiiiiiiiisssssss the mmmuffffffffiiiiiiinnnn maaaaaaannnn

Last night was a lot of fun though! We hung out at Erik's for a bit, went for Chinese and bubble tea, played a bit of pool... then Mike, Erik & I had a wicked shred session in the middle of a street in Kensington 'til like 4:20 a.m.! Marita and Andrew watched and had some very interesting conversations. It was awesome!!!

I'll put the photos on facebook and put the link here in a bit.

I wanna see Erik's, I think the photos on his camera turned out better.

Funny moments:

-Fortune cookies, Fuk-king Fried Rice, and false Kung-Fu signals that might have gotten us into a LOT of trouble (thanks Marita! :P )

-Making Erik blush by telling him (truthfully) that he's a superstar and EVERYONE LOVES THE MUFFIN MAN!

-Andrew half-mooning my camera when I tried to take a photo of him & Erik deep in conversation

-Hearing Erik make a mean joke! I was in shock! I couldn't believe it came from his mouth. His justification: "Pfft, he loves me." hahaha

-Lots of fun flyers and punches and slaps to the bag

-Hilarious photos and self-timer craziness

-This random old dude in a kilt who approached our circle and said laughing, "I would never want to expel that much energy." Then his buddy said "Imagine him doing that stuff in that kilt" and Mike shook his head saying "No no, I don't WANT to imagine that!" The old guy seemed just as displeased. hahaha

Anyway, it was a great night, although I was very sad as we said goodbye. But then Andrew reminded me: It's not the last time I'm gonna see Erik & Marita! :D

Thanks, guys, for coming here and sharing your awesomeness with this city. Hope I see you soon!

Yeah, you're right. I post them on facebook cuz it's just so easy and then all my friends can see them too... but yeah, I'll email them to Mike so he can put them up there. Actually, I think that's pretty inefficient cuz I have about 473 photos I could possibly give to Mike for the site. Mike, how about we just get together sometime this weekend/next week to transfer photos? I have them on DVDS, CDS, and mini hard drives, yay.

Yeah... we should have had a jam this summer. I wanted to plan one but honest to god I was more busy this year than ever before. I organzied GLASS cuz that was when I took a year off of school. But I want to do it, so when's a good time of year?

yeah, good thing to look into, as you don't want to throw it the same time as some one elses jam, AND you want there to be enough time between jams so people have money to make it out to your jam. Here's the annual rundown: grass is in may, shredmonton has june, montreal has july, worlds are in august, hackrifice has september, kickass as far as tom has told me won't be happening this year, and it was october, VanJam was december, but i don't know if it was a one off or an annual. perhaps late october? just move kickass to toronto and call it tickass?

for the hackrifice website, every one who wants it has access to our server and our blog to post news and updates and to upload vids and such (however, i have forgotten the password to our blog so i can't post anything, lol). i'm not sure as to how much space you guys have, or how sensitive mike is about letting you all have access, but that would probably be the easiest way to go about getting every thing up on fat.com
