While the intent of your message may be geniune, your delivery was so disgustingly annoying, bothersome, hypocritical, and preachy that nobody wants to listen to what you have to say. I'm sorry dude, but if anyone thinks he or she is better than most other posters on this forum than that person is probably suffering from delusions of Jesus-ness.

When you brought Fletch into this thread I was immediately offended and downright fucking pissed off. How will you ever get people like me to agree with what you're saying when you continually give us avenues to retreat into our hatred of the things you say and do?

Nobody wants their mommy running around modified and making everything nice. In case you haven't noticed, most experienced modified members do post like a particular european player, Vasek, which is never.

Threads like this one can be fun to start, especially if they are started jokingly. I condone jokes, and I even condone personal insult, as long as true maliciousness is not behind it. Just some of my thoughts.

Thank you for your thoughts. I wasn't bringing Fletch into this, I just happen to see him post in the Discussion forum, then noticed it was my thread, and was like 'great, who's next.'

I'm just tired at this point. Tired of reading crap, tired of fighting crap, tired of everything that has to do with the crap part of this forum. And I'm not trying to contribute anymore, but when I read a post from some newb that says I should've been aborted because of that thread? Dude come on, seriously. How the hell could anyone just clean up the crap when people are constantly throwing it at you. It's like the Kicking Circle and Discussion forum are a self-perpetuating crap cyle.

If it were me, I'd get rid of the Discussion forum. Maybe keep the KC, but disallow vulgarity, profanity, and flaming. Not a BANABLE offense, just warnings, then bannings, etc.

Man, I guess every message board has to have 'roles'. You know, the mods, the whiners, the spammers, the flamers, the people-who-just-post-here-ers...I kinda lost the point of this thread by about halfway through the second page...but from what I gathered, what I have to say is like this: the internet is the internet, deal with it. If you wanna change the rules of a particular message board then become a mod or make your own message board. It just feels like moaning about vulgarity and profanity is only going to exasperate the problem (if there really is one) rather than slow it down or stop it altogether. The internet is kinda like school bullies, if you ignore them, they'll leave you alone.

If you switch messageboards or stop reading a particular one, all that vulgarity and profanity will magically go away! Da-dadadaaaa!

This post lost its point. I attribute this to it being past my bedtime.

No, you're absolutely right Skip. That's why I banned myself from the Discussion forum a while back. If I just stayed out of there, then I would be fine, and I could enjoy this place without getting upset. The crap got out though, and into the Kicking Circle in the form of Dan Feary. I guess I'm just not good at ignoring crap. When I see it, I want to remove it. Like just take a rag, and wipe it up. But it doesn't come up. It just stays there and spreads...and soon it's on me as well.

I should stop reading this place. I mainly stick to the video section. All is good there. But I swear, the audacity of some people, and the lack of moderation on this site is just enough to boil my blood. It's really hard to overlook the complete lack of moderation.

Saying anything about gay people is bad, saying extremely vulgar things, and being rude to other posters, good! It makes no sense!

Ben Rea is a good kid. He was real chill at last year's Kickass. I suppose modified isn't the type of place for him (with some opposition towards him and even pointing him and Jrstubs out so openly with a topic) but eventually people drift away from modified temporarily or completely out of public contact. I guess you can say it's something like a fraternity, and if you break a sacred law you get harassed for it.

I played with several Cowsacks at GRASS. I was playing on a sprained ankle, but I still played. They were very heavy, but nicely stitched.

Whatever. I think discussing over such absurd nonsense is [derogatory use of such words not tolerated. - King Monkey].
