Paris Hilton petition

As I'm sure most of you are aware, Paris Hilton has been convicted and sentenced to jail for a driving offence.

Bill O'Reilly has come out strongly saying that it is wrong for people to be sent to jail for driving offences.

I've never liked that bitch. She isn't even that hot. Now that I read that short summary of her crimes, she DEFINITELY deserves to go down. I laughed out loud when I heard on the news she was going to jail.

I am of similar sentiment.

If I understand the situation correctly, it was a drunk driving probation violation, she should have been sent to jail in the first place

Lock her the &*#$ up already

Drunk driving is a serious problem in the US and we continue to let people slide, never taking away licenses or jailing people until it's too late and they've already killed someone. By letting a widely publicized incident like this slide we are setting a terrible precedent for other offenders and would-be offenders.

IMO drunk otherwise impaired driving is a much more serious violation than other driving violations like speeding or running a stop sign. It is much more dangerous and deadly and should be addressed accordingly.

I could go on forever, I'll stop now. I'm all wound-up.

It's not a question of her being a slut, it's a question of if a person who is famous should be pardoned by the Govenator simply because she is famous, or if the laws that apply to everybody who isn't famous should also apply to the famous.

Anyway word on the street is that she was photographed driving again today.
