Vegetarianism is the scourge.

However the rainforest thing was a brilliant idea. Not the sort of thing I'm into but brilliant nonetheless.

You're an idiot.

But to answer Sam's question about if the ends justify the means or not, I think it doesn't at all. Your means should always be ethical. I don't think it's ethical to promote your beliefs using something that is entirely unconnected to your beliefs. I think it demonstrates a weakness in the strength of your arguments, that you can't convince people of your belies simply using arguments. PETA has a long reputation of committing acts that I would call completely immoral because they believe that the outcome of the actions makes them justifiable. For example, I don't think burning down a university or sending letter bombs is ethically acceptable behaviour, no matter how important your cause is. Of course PETA didn't officially commit these acts, but it has strong links to the group that did (The Animal Liberation Front) including paying for the resulting legal fees, acting as a spokesman and hiring ALF militants.

Because I posted that image of the PETA protesters wearing cabbage leaves, which seemed related to people creating pornography for their cause, and then you asked me if;

"Jeremy, I understand what you are saying. But, If using sex to get people to accomplish something good works then why not?"

So I continued on with the discussion.

I agree with this statement. There's this small group that sets up at the beach, and this one guy stands up on a soapbox. The other 3 or 4 pretend they're just hanging at the beach getting ready to see what he's going to say. So then he announces that he's giving away money for correct answers to trivia questions. People really start gathering until there's a big crowd. Everyone shouts out answers and he hands out dollar bills to the few that get them right. About 5 questions into it he says "I need a volunteer, someone that thinks they're a good person."

Then he asks if they've ever told a lie, and he says okay, so you're a liar. Have you ever said God's name in vain, you're a blasphemer. Have you ever lusted, so you're an adulterer, etc. But he basically tells the person that they ARE a bad person and they'd be going to hell if it wasn't for Jesus. After embarrassing the person in front of their friends or family, he starts preaching.

The thing is, he used trickery to get people to start paying attention to him. He made them think that it was just a trivia contest. So HE himself broke his own code of ethics by being deceitful in order to get people to hear his point.

Chris, stop being knowingly hypocritical while trying to pretend that your little gimmick is serious. I already did that gig, much better, like 5 months ago. You expect people to take you seriously when you post here about the ends not justifying the means, and then in other threads treat people like total shit while preaching ethic's and morale's about cleaning up Modified?

If you're going to be a troll, get your own material. And if you're going to copy me, actually make it funny so I wont want to burn my eyes reading it. It's like you and Jeremy teamed up, feeling a mutual need to fill the monstrous gap that I left.

See you're wrong though. I have yet to be 'mean' since I started the thread! That's really the most amazing part to me. Is that people can just hate and hate and hate, instead of just accepting a simple message.

I don't like reading about how some stupid 19 year old wants to learn how to eat pussy on a fucking footbag forum. HOW FUCKING HARD IS THAT TO UNDERSTAND?

See, THAT would've been compromising the ethics of my cause. Get it?

Funny part is, at 19, I've been with more girls than you.

Chris, everyone's sick of your idiocy and double-standards, trying to walk the line between reformer and asshole. Everyone see's through your shit. Get a life.

Oh god dude are you serious? Is that the best you've got? You have definitely not been more chicks with me if you're asking 15 year olds on footbag forum how to eat pussy. And trust me dude, I've seen your pic. You look like a fucking punching bag with no neck. I got chicks not really diggin that look.

chris and dan should fist each other and videotape it out in the woods and send it to this site. They should fill each other with arm instead of filling modified with nonsense.
