MMORPG's

I played Diablo II LoD a while ago. Very addictive. But, just like every other MMORPG. They're ridiculously addictive, time consuming, bad for your health, and you definitely don't get anything out of them, except self gratification for getting to a high level, and getting good gear... Dumb.
Played WoW for 3 weeks, and quit. Only used the trial card thank god. What a freakin' waste of time that game was. I've lost 4 friends to that game. Like, we're friends... but they never leave their god damn house. And one of them, Travis, brings he new laptop EVERYWHERE he goes, so he can play if he gets bored at one of our houses. We don't like to invite him anymore, lol.
MMO's... they should be controlled by the government. They might as well just be listed as a drug. And you should have to get a permit for them, and have the amount of time you play be controlled and monitored.
What's really annoying, is when you get a guy (Usually one of those four friends.), that comes up and starts talking to you about how they reached level 70 and have an epic flying mount and how it's their life's most glorious achievement... or how they got some weird magical armor of some sort that does level XX firestorm upon attack or something like that... Like I'm supposed to know what that means. Then I'm forced into a position where I want to smack them in the face and tell them to get a job and a girlfriend, but all I can do is nod my head in fake recognition, and half smile.
MMO's can be fun... but they're usually just addicting and bad for you, and can even fuck up your life.

LOL, reminds me of this guy that would always bring his computer and play WoW at lans and also just at other people's houses. Anyway to cut a long story short he was at my house once and played WoW for over 6hours straight while me and some other friends watched movies/socialized etc. Later that night I blocked WoW on my router

Yeah, I set up the password requirements on my wireless modem so that asshat can't sit here and play his stupid game at my house anymore. My modem's in the drop ceiling in our basement, wired to our desktop, and then the Wii, XBox, and mom's laptop all get the wireless internet, so he can't hardwire it to it either.
If you EVER, EVER, find yourself doing ANY of the fallowing, while playing an MMO. You need to quit playing that MMO.
- Skipping bathroom breaks.
- Skipping a meal.
- Thinking in you're head, "Just one more level."
- Pronouncing out loud, "Just one more level."
- Swearing loudly at the game.
- Punching your computer tower out of frustration from lag.
- Threatening your computer screen.
- Pound your keyboard.
- Lose your wireless keyboard and mouse because you threw them in a rage and didn't see where they landed.
- Choose to stay home and play rather than go out with friends on a nice day.
- Grades drop.
- Fingers ache.
- Wrists hurt.
- You begin to slouch so low, you have to reach to move the mouse around.
- You plan out what you're going to do on your game all night.
- It's what you talk about while at the movies.
There's a lot more, but I'm sick of trying to recall the pathetic things I've seen a few friends do...

I fell under a few too, but quickly decided not to waste my time on this shit anymore. Heh. Anyone seen that vid of the german kid freaking out over unreal tournament? It's so... absurd. It's embarrassing to watch it... but it's so damn funny at the same time...
Just look it up on youtube. German Unreal Tournament. Should come up in the top of the list. If not, I'll find it later. It's so funny.

That statement was not politically incorrect, it was completely stupid stereotype and you should feel like an idiot for posting it. Thats like saying "those Muslims are pretty prone to terrorism (i.e. osama bin laden)" using one, extremely rare part to make generalizations about the whole is absurd. THAT is a stupid way of life.

Speaking of which, Canada is a superior country. Grats for like, coming from that country.
