Stuff n Junk w/ Crowley
Super fucking bored! I wish I would have thought about driving to Missoula this weekend. I've been playing Zelda OoT for about 3 hours now. I can't handle it anymore.
That sucks, I knew I was missing my diabolo. I was looking for it yesterday. Oh well, I'll get it back sooner or later.
Fuck. Bored. Yeah.

I've got to make this quice, my ferry leaves in an hour.
I'm leaving Seattle to do some backpacking in the Olympic Mountain for the next few days. I'm really excited about that.
Seattle has been good to me so far on this visit. I kicked with Scott and Justin last night at Seattle center. Then I went back to Justin's place to score some new music. His roommate just had brain surgery and was pretty incoherent. I just played a game of frisbee golf with Scott and his roommate somewhere in south Seattle, that was neat. Anyway, I'm leaving here pretty soon.
James, you left your diablo in Scott's car. I think he still has it.

@ James: Was a little drunk and wanted to flirt. Really just wanted to catch up with the wii sale and try and organize a little bit for house hunting.
Had two sessions yesterday. Was pretty hungover so mostly just tried to sweat it out. legs felt like they weighed 1000 lbs but threw a video together anyways. expect it later today. Boppalicious
Seems like I only make videos from hungover sessions
and I think two of the tricks are 'the'.

I didn't sell my Wii actually. I just got some stuff so I could start making money again. Although, I keep spending it instead of saving.
My roommate is being weird lately. Like, angry all the time for no reason. It's super lame. I fried last night with Mario and it was pretty sweet. I just couldn't fall asleep until way late and just tossed and turned all night.
Oh and I scarred my leg when I went camping because I fell on a REALLY hot rock next to the fire. So, I'm stoked to have a nice burn mark on my legs for the rest of my life.
I've been shredding a little bit lately. I realized I can almost flip frantic. I also realized I can hit flip pixie muted swirl. And twirl. I also invented a bunch of weird moves last night while barefoot. I can't wait to try them with shoes since most of them were inside/clipper moves.

Went on a 7 hour hike yesterday to one of the highest peaks in the area called Stuart's Peak. We actually got a little lost due to bushwhacking it and made it to one of the surrounding mountaintops.
Took some morphine last night for no real reason. Now I feel like I'm either going to puke or that my head will explode
not too cool

I'm back in Eugene from my olympic adventure. I hiked about 70 miles in 4 days by myself. No injuries, but I'm still plenty tired from those three days of 20+ miles. It's sweet to know that Kevin Crowley has now beee on top of Stuart Peak. I like that hike. Someday I hope to do the backside from Grant Creek, but that's an extremely long one.
Tomorrow I'm going to Corvallis to force Nast Nate to shred, then I'm going to Portland for the Sunday afternoon shred at pioneer square, I hope.

I had a little session on U of O campus yesterday with Nate Linscot and James Erikson. They haven't been kicking as much as they used to, so their stamina isn't what it used to be. It was a good session though. Some random pedestrians walked by and this amusing conversation resulted:
Random Guy #1: Hey, don't you have to smoke a lot of weed to get really good at hacky-sack?
Nasty Nate: Yeah, it definitely helps.
Random guy #2: 'Cause y'all are pretty damn good.
Nasty Nate: That's 'cause we get the chronic.
Anyway, I hit the same ol' shit. It was my first time playing footbag since I left Seattle like a week ago. Tomorrow I'm going up to Portland with Nate to do the Sunday shred at Pioneer Square. Red said that Kenny is the only one who can't make it. I guess that's because his wife is in some sort of bicycle race. That's a bummer, since I've been wanting to kick with him since I first saw Tricks of the Trade 1 when I was in high school. I'll try to post when I get back to let y'all know how the trip went.

I just got back from Portland where I had a solid shred session with the sole purpose crew. Portland easliy has the largest footbag constituency of any city in North America. Today's session was like 12 freestylers deep, and that was a really low turnout for a typical Sunday. What Red has done to expand the Portland scene should serve as an example for other cities. We could do the same thing in Missoula, but we wouldn't get paid like Red does because Montana is poor.
Anyway, Nick Landes hooked me up with a new "fourkast-fourteen" footbag in addition to a sick new 32-panel with a sick color scheme. I hit some good shit during the session, featuring a super stylish tiltless routine: cloud>blender (caught frigid)>sole>blender (caught frigid)>pickup>long tiltless string. Stephen, Nick, Jake, Red, Brian, Ben, and Sean all hit some amazing shit that made my jaw drop. Too bad Nate couldn't make it, but I'm going to Corvallis on Thursday to make him shred.
What's this about James and 1,000 blenders in Missoula?

I checked a laptop out from the library to add some music to my ipod. Once removed after the okay sign, all my music was lost. Music that I will never be able to get my hands on again. 2.5 years worth of borrowing music from friends, finding music on the internet, separating tracks from ridiculously lengthy radio shows, and putting my whole cd collection which is mostly scratched to hell now
but a buddy gave me all his music for me to sort through. It has all of the NIN, Radiohead, Placebo, Portishead, Modest Mouse and Stone Temple Pilots albums.
Got into TV on the Radio and The Books as well. Great music.
Blast from the past...my first video ever:
