im getting really stoked about worlds. its about 3 months away, and goodnes, im going nuts. there are just so many things im looking forward to:

>brians birthday

i did some on and off shredding today. my past few shreds have been sad. i basically drilled the whole two hours i was supposed to work, but i was really feelin it! i finished a new footbag this morning so i started to kick it... and wow! i was hitting all my moves really consistent.

so i went into work and started drilling my pixies and my flip clipper. damn that clipper is hard! anyway i got a lot of pixies and maybe two flip clippers. it was nice to just have the 2 hours for my own shredding.

we came home after work and brian left to go to a yo yo meeting. he wont be back till 10 so i cut out some panels for a new footbag and went outside to drill again. i started doing some pixies and i began to think: i wonder if i could add another dex? so i tried adding a legover at the end... it only took 4 or 5 tries and BAM...
PLO!!!!!!!

...maybe its the gunits?
anyway, the nashville footbag jam is gonna be next weekend. i hope some people show up.

its been a fun week. i got paid, had some fun, and picked up a new videya game (for holly).

i did some yard work for my mom, which i usually dont do. never there kinda thing. but i treked 100 miles there and back just to weed her yard, and catch a few ticks while i was at it. i think i pulled 10 or so off me yesterday. now i itch like.. something itcy.

and we went bowling with steve, our graphic design friend. we went arcading too. i suck at bowling so bad. i got like a 40 as my final score. steve played in the 230's.

but i had fun, and the arcade games were awesome. big game hunter, some other big game hunter. man, it was cool killin bears and boars and deer and elk and bison and squirrel. (yeah, i dropped quite a few quarters on this game).

i made a few footbags. im pretty happy, but i come down hard on myself if they arent pretty enough, because i think its flawed. (they still play fine, despite that wrinkley panel).

i got holly super paper mario. she has been extra good lately, so i thought to do something nice.

i got my grade the other day too, so mine are

history of world civilizations 2= b
history of graphic design= b-

so i passed, with what i think is deans list. whatev, i get lots of scholarships, so deans list dosnet really matter much.

and theres shred sometime today. hopefully some yoyoing and stitching if i can squish it all into the final hours of my weekend.

i found out my fav musicians name. buckethead= brian carroll.

awesome session today. brian and i found this sweet ass shred spot. it even has an outlet for our speakers.

i can see myself progressing with footbag and the only thing i can think is "finally! damn!" maybe i wont embarrass myself at worlds.

bought some new shorts. god damn, i guess clothes makers have decided that they only want to make shorts that are too damn short. dont they realize that us big bottom girls need some longer shorts!? the inseams are like 1". okay ill stop bitching about shorts... lol.

nathan pipenberg traded bags with me. i havent gotten his yet but here is what he said about mine:

i got a holly bag in a trade. i hope she will like the bag i gave her. the one i got is pretty neat. i think its really similar to an abshire, but before jumping down my throat for insulting her bags let me explain.

its heavily gathered, requires break in ( oh my! ) and basically kind of looks like an abshire. i think it will end up being superior to an abshire though because its softer, has a better fill and is more evenly stitched. Holly seems to have created a bag in between the new and old styles in that it needs to be broken in, but has the current fill and weight that is popular. it should turn out nice.

brian and i are leaving wednesday for south carolina to see my twin brother graduate the marine boot camp. i cant wait to see him again. i really hope that hes changed. i dont want to see him go through the shit i went through (drugs, alcohol, trouble with the law). hes gonna be home to celebrate our birthday together though!

so we shredded for about an hour and a half or so today, at a new spot.

its some pavilion thing, made from wood, and it dosent have walls, so its breezy. its pretty cool, with electricty for speakers/lights/cameras

oh, thats right. i want to get a camera sooner or later. hopefully before worlds, but probably not til after christmas or something.

ive decided ill be making a special run on brinards for worlds. using steel filler (more costly for me) with a color/pattern i wont use again.

its the trispinners ive been making, the only ones i will make after this is white/black or any other colors without black.

my idea is black+bright color trispinner , with a special logo or something for worlds 07. ill start making them probably in two weeks. finish my orders first, do a trade or two, and start worlds only stitching.

but about my session today.

it was pretty crappy. i have lost my groove, so i have to work extra hard for shit to happen. that means short strings and easy tricks tha i drop on. i didnt do any illusions, but i did hit

my twin brother is now a marine. hes going into infantry. im really proud of him, because hes really turning his life around. its an awesome change.

i made a footbag a couple weeks ago... and i ended up keeping it for myself because the bag i was playing with was really old and needed to be retired... it was the shit. brian and i were footbagging on base at parris island waiting for my brother to go on liberty. and i fucking lost it. i didnt notice until i sat down like 30 minutes ago. im a dumb ass. seriously. that bag was so good that i cried when i realized it was gone. mother fucker.

i left my phone charger too.

i got some really good pictures, and ill post them when i have more time. tomorrow is the nashville jam so ill just make a big picture post when i get around to it.

eh, it was a bit too sunny i suppose. we both got some sunburn on our face, and our arms are alittle red. hollys shoulders are pretty crispy.

but it was a great past 4 or so days.

it was neat seeing george graduate bootcamp. im really impressed by his turnaround, because he wasnt doing too good before the marines. im proud of him.

i made that brinard vs. lonn bag on the way up there. it was really sweet as soon as i was finished. i cant sleep in cars. 10 hours straght thru, there then back some 30 hours later.

the hotel was pretty shitty. our fridges door fell off when it was opened. it didnt work obviously. cockroaces. our friends in the next room had stained up towels. they didnt even have an alarm clock.

and we had THE Nashville Footbag Brigades jam this after noon. like i said, we were sunburned. i had a pretty good day, hitting some new stuff, and getting my groove back.

im leaving from thursday night till saturday night for arkansas. my twin and i are driving to little rock to visit our grandparents. i havent seen them in a while so im excited. ill miss brian, though.

we are having a party at our house on sunday to celebrate our birthday. steve is the only person i invited... so it should be interesting to see who shows up.

i made bank this pay check! fuck yeah! im putting about half of it back for worlds though. its all good, ill be able to buy footbags and shit at worlds and not have to worry about a budget. maybe ill buy a video camera before worlds.

brians been a sweety lately. i love him!

ive got a million things to mail off tomorrow morning.

so today was.... okay.

slept in. got to work on early. started stitching. went to work. finished stitching. worked some more.

and then on my smoke route home, i saw this semi truck run over a guy waiting for the bus.

it was strange. not scary, but then again, i wasnt hit by a truck.

he just kind of flattened out, like in his hip area. like when you step on a teddy bear i guess. then he wrinkled up, like his hips/legs were broke, and he just kept saying "ahh nah". "aaah, Nah."

so i waited until someone else checked him out. then traffic stopped. someone motioned me to move out of the lane (i was behing the semi when everything happened). so i just went into a u turn, and finished my circle, and went home.

with lee at the skatepark. more shred monday.

hit two new moves. revwhirling xbd rake, and revswirling pickup.

it was really hot. my strings were shit. the water fountain dosent work well now that the wavepool is open.

holly will be home soon. shes been away in arkansauce. i miss her. her birthday is tuesday. happy early birthday holly! shes pretty much gotten all her gifts early. that tattoo, money, ipod portable speakers, plane tix to worlds... but shes been real good, so i guess its alright.

and i guess other than that stuff, life has been a blur. its just been work, stitch, smoke, and work. there has been some perks, but i wont divulge that info.

its weird. i saw that dude get runover the other day. my bud JC saw an old lady get smacked by a car going 70. a friend of lots of my friends died, fell off a train trussel, into a river 100 feet below. i guess im just lucky to have what all i have, including a working body and mind. fuck dieing.

im back. never go to arkansas unless you like the words "prayer warrior" or "boo-koos". i spent some time with my twin though, and we had some talks. hes proposing to his highschool sweetheart on tuesday. shes graduating tuesday and its our birthday. hes making such a big mistake... especially since he just finished bootcamp and has no idea whats in his future. i hope he doesnt fuck up.

had some solo mini-sessions in some non footbag shoes. twas fun.

saw pirates 3! it was better than the first two... and leaves it open for a 4th pirates. a 3 hour long movie is definately worth your $8. verison wireless is doing a contest where you can win a party on the black pearl. i wish i were on that service. actually i wish i were a pirate.
