My point wasn't that they haven't been hit, it was that are "very uncommon." In the average footbag video, how many far swirling>op component moves are hit? I would be willing to bet that result is a lot closer to 0 than it is to 1, let alone more. On the other hand, how many ripwalks are hit? How many videos do not contain a single ripwalk? Thus we can see a clear difference between a commonly hit move or component, and an uncommonly hit move or component.max wrote:I've seen far swirling pickup many many many times. I would presume that the reason people haven't really heard of swirling moves getting pdx is because they're very uncommon. How many times as anybody seen far swirling toe?
There was an interesting reply in the great paradox debate thread on footbag.org - its currently the second last post (above mine wich says that it looks interesting).I'm not curious for the sake of ADDs. Just want to be able to understand footbag the best I can and this is a huge gray area for me.

It has a quite more detailed view; dexes are divided, rotation of the body is incorporated, rotation stops are included, and it with it, on is able to analyse moves showing "the paradoxical component" of paradox moves.
It is a notation for Descibing moves only, since I find a Difficulity Rating impossible do to it's subjective nature. But if somebody else wishes to make such a point-system, this notation gives a more detailed picture of what goes on in certain moves, such that such a point-system can be made on more precise grounds.
