Nice Dave! Props on keeping it all tight and clean. I think that's the first time I've seen that trick (I've heard of others hitting it, but never saw video).

That's a good question. I remember he broke his ankle a while back, but that was before 2003. I think the first time he posted about hitting pixie flurry was back in 99 or 2000 on the .org mailing list

I, too, miss Windsen Pan.
Back when I was starting, in, like, '99, I would watch videos of Ryan Mulroney...and Windsen Pan.

From what I've heard from both the San Antonio and Houston guys is that he does not. He stopped when he got to college as far as anyone knows. Maybe look him up on myspace or facebook or something.

BTW awesome trick, but YouTube video quality makes it impossible to tell if the trick was clean IMO. It looks good, but the bag is almost impossible to see, I don't know how anyone can make a definite call on it. I'd need to see the original video file myself with better quality and slow-mo it.

Are you sure? I had my doubts about the third dex too, especially the end of it but I couldn't confirm any problems, it looks like the dex is around the shoe to me, which is ok in my book.

How can you tell the cleanliness of a flurry from a freezeframe prior to the third dex? *That* frame in particular shows nothing conclusive at all.

Sure. I'm still not convinced, but I'd agree it's close. I'm no longer sure if it's possible to tell from a photo. I think Matt Cross put forward a good argument in another topic.

I think in general it would be better to assume everything is clean unless you're sure it's not, rather than the other way around, although I only say that because it's a nicer

Even if the trick is "the," I think it's the best effort at this move I've seen.

why do people get so crazy about tricks being "the" when they probably the tricks too? i would understand in competition, but not videos that are released for fun.
