Art Project.

Post by jay7 »

Well, our art teacher said we had to paint something in the sunshine that we loved to do. Obviously footbag was my first choice ;)

Here is the pencil'd template that I'll paint when I get to school. Which, since I SUCK with colours, I know will look like crap.

I figured I'd throw it in here. I am not really a drawer, so I am not yearning for tips or anything, but I guess they couldn't hurt.

Looks very good! Post some progress pics! The number one rule of thumb with drawing is to use VALUE. Really dark darks and really light lights, and a wide range of mediums.

I like how the foot is slanted, if it was perfectly straight (like Vasek's ankles) then it would be a boring drawing.

Yay!

Just curious, are you using acrylic, oil or watercolor?

Funny movie titles if the movie were about poop:
Red
Fast & the Furious
The Green Mile
Children of the Corn
There Will be Blood

I have no idea what I'll be painting it with, could be blood for all I know :?

When I colour it, I'll keep in mind this 'value' you speak of, thanks :)

I disagree with Zac. If it was perflectly flat it would look hot.

However, I like what I see anyway. GL with the coloring.
