"North" shred was at Bayview and Sheppard, right outside the station. It's actually a really nice spot except that it doesn't have too much light when it gets darker.
It was a sweet session, just me and Josh, Billy bailed. Josh is too freakin nice, he picked me up right from my door in Scarborough just to go right back to his area to shred. He even offered sweet ganga services and then brought me back to his place to chill with Nicole and Clipper. What a guy!
Wednesday night with Mike was great too. He is getting better all the time and he is really inspiring, I find... he has great determination and I think I push myself more when we play alone. We played for like 3 hours outside the U of T Medsci building, in the shelter from the rain.
I think I am pretty silly because I felt a bit of an icky cold coming on and instead of taking care of it, I played outside in the chill for the past two nights. Blah. I also had hurt my left calf from longboarding and it was a total bitch to play on.
Still, shred Saturday at the beach?! I'm SO there. I was also thinking, shredding at the beach on Monday would probably be a pretty smart idea since it's Victoria Day and there will be tons of people there for the fireworks! If you guys are down and would rather go to the beach for just one day of the weekend we can play somewhere else on Saturday.

I work Monday.
I hope Saturday is still a go!!
I'm getting sick too, but it wont stop me!
I want to start making shred videos. I learned Windows movie maker last night (which is hella easy). I'll bring my camera on Saturday with the hope that we can all take turns filming eachother a bit.
Go footbag!

I will be there...
Ok, guys, I need a HUGE favour from everyone. My dad is coming to talk to you guys about Montreal...He just wants to make sure, like y'all are good people and such. My parents are already letting me go, so no worries there. Please, everyone try to keep presentable...No ganja until AFTER he leaves and try to keep it polite and stuff. I know y'all will do fine, just thought I'd give you a heads up.
Mike, even if its just me and you, it'll still work, but hopefully others will show.

I'll see you guys there, and will do my best to avoid being stoned out of my gourd, and charming (I'm not that great at either, but I swear I'll make a special effort for you, Alex). I'm stoked for shred! I just have no time these days other than the weekend, so its been 5 WHOLE DAYS since I last played

... Wait, am I too old to use that word? ...
Excited.
Oh, and bring CDs if you want! Also, C batteries would help out a bunch!

Sorry I can't be there today guys, I'm in Alliston. Sam, I WILL shred with you one night this coming week.
I played today with my brother Joel, and he hit Ducking Clip, some Infinities and DLOs, and Mirage > Legover [rpt]. I'm making sure his flipside comes along. Go Joel! We talked about him starting a footblog, something like B.F.F. (Barrie Footbag Foundation), although that name is a little tweenish.
This is the third day in a row that I've played, actually. That's a first in a while. Yesterday I found myself out in Mississauga, and then in Oakville playing with Skippy and Mosher. They had bought a couple different kinds of the puzzle piece cushion mats, and after struggling to make them fit together we had an amazing bunch of shred. We ending up flipping the entire mat creation upside down to avoid slippage. Although the top of the mats sucked for footbag, the bottom was the grippy stuff and worked amazing. While Skippy warmed down Tom and I practiced Spinning and had a few games of extend-a-string. (Start with 1 move and take turns adding tricks to the string). It was awesome.
Then add on the wicked little low-key session Camille and I had the night before, and you get on the best 3-day shred scheds I've had in a while.
Can't wait for more!

I reserved the Multi-8 this moring online. I'll post again when they confirm. Matt - of course you can stay with us - but I don't think we have 3 whole rooms for RFA. Who want's to stay with us? Matt, Chris, and Paul?
This is the list so far. Some people WILL have to sleep on the floor.
Cassy/Andrew (1 room)
Camille
Alex
Sam
Mike
Matt
Chris
Paul
Jon?
Josh?
Actually - that's not bad. If Jon and Josh come, that only puts two of us on the floor. And I think Jon requested floor to save money. I think we're good - assuming UQAM still has a multi 8 room left.

Well ... I'm thinking about going.
Tom and Peng are going.
Adam Geenwood might go? I can't remember what he said.
