David propably didn't post a toe-to-toe 4dex just for fun.
Why to go crazy about it being 'the' or not? Because it's one bloody hard move and not many people have cleaned it.
I was trying to point out with that picture that David's foot is above the bag, making it 'the', but it's really hard to tell because you can't see the bag in the frame. The red circle is my guess about the location of the bag.

why do people get so crazy about tricks being "the" when they probably the tricks too? i would understand in competition, but not videos that are released for fun.
Because if you hit a trick "the," you're not actually hitting the trick at all.

If a video is posted labelled or described as (for example) 'Pixie Flurry', and the trick is 'the', then its completely acceptable to comment on it i think.
Or if in a video someone is celebrating having hit a certain trick, or theres a slo-mo replay of it, and its 'the', then once again, comments are fine.

Perhaps if in the middle of a run in a video, someone 'the's a Blurriest, then i wouldnt personally comment, unless the video producer or player in question requested such comments.
Or if a person posted a video saying, 'here is me hitting Voodoo, i think its 'the'', or a video labelled 'me hitting a 'the' Voodoo', then i wouldnt post calling more attention to the 'the' trick.

Hey,

Thanks for all the comments, and thanks to Erik for finding this video.

I personally think its a really weird flurry and it probably is thin if not the. It was not my intention to make this look like it was perfectly done. This was my first time hitting the trick and I put it on youtube so others could see it. I believe I have cleaned it since then, just not on tape.

To Holly, clean tricks are important. Like someone said, you aren't hitting it if its the. If the's were no issue people would be hitting stupid stuff all over. There has to be some definition of legit.

Thanks for watching my trick. Next time I clean it in shoes I'll throw it on my youtube channel.

Jims example: If you look very very closely and compare frames, i think it is clean. The 'money frame' is where there is blurring of two frames and you can see the bag in line with his foot on the second dex. So the second dex is around the shoe. IMO.

Sick Jim!!

Who knows how old this is, and he is still better than I am now. Gotta love the second mess-up, though. lol
