Hi modified, I have no more expirience player in Russia to ask about my spins, so i have to ask you. May be you saw some my vids, so you know that I spin alot, so I want to ask you what do you think about my spins -

for now I have 2 techniques of doing spin moves -

In my opinions your spins are not clean. The way you are doing spins it seems like you spot the bag even before it has left your foot. There is no way that spin can be clean doing it that way.

So the way you are doing spins are: stall->spin->set
The right way to spin is: stall->set->spin

Hey Sergey!
I've definitely seen your videos. I always liked your spinning style. But if you want advice on how to spin differently then setting before beginning the spin is really good advice. I have been trying to hit marius, and so a big part of what helps me get closer to the trick is to set a perfect spin, since that is my strong point.

You want to make sure that you are setting straight up and down -- almost pretend like you aren't spinning at all. When I try marius I have to think spinning clipper to get a better set, because I am more confident that I will set straight. Maybe you can think of setting as if you were doing a diving clipper -- high, yet straight up and down...

After you set, THEN spin and spot the bag as soon as possible.
I don't know why you're asking for help on spins though...you're clearly a master...

Alright, I don't know why I get so f**ked up with spins, but now I get the key. I do the del for setting, while already turned my body. So I just need to del the bag when looking at it on the setting side.

I filmed myself spinning this way, and my seting leg goes straight up.

What do u think?

looks pulled. Try setting the bag before you spin or while you spin.

I get confused though. What is a "good" set? Sometimes I feel like I'm setting from an osis if I'm turned too much. Is that good form?

It's a matter of style. But if you want it to be more "cleaner" just look at setting clipper more, while delaying/setting, and spin.

I don't think there's such thing as a "pulled" spinning, I believe as long as you can hit the trick you want, it's all good.

I don't think you should make any major changes to your spinning technique, to me it looks just right.

I don't agree with that. There's a difference between style and clean tricks. If you like your spinnings and enjoy the feeling when you are spinnig, don't change your technique. But if you want to become better and try to do every trick very clean, you need to change your normal spinning motion. Just in my opinion....But you're one of the greates players!!! Schred hard!!! Spin fast

Spin both ways equally. ^_^ ... And you just get used to it after a while buddy. Just don't spin in the same direction too many times before switching to the other direction.

I'd say it looks better. I'm no spinning master but my only remaining advise would be to spin faster. Really whip around.

I like the left side spins better in that video, seemed tighter to me.

I like your other spins better though, I don't think you should have changed them.
