Hit 3 consecutive whirls both sides (it's a challenge) then you'll can start thinking about how you have to make the dexes for a whirr..

yeah, i can do a string of about 5 whirls. never tried doing them consecutively before today. they are good form, i do them totally clean, but i tend to want to set them too high. they defenitely could use a little work and i can almost do it flipside now too.

i can do 10 infinities now shooting for 20 by end of the weekend as well as 7-8 whirls and flipside whirl. i'm also gonna school some other things.

my quantum ducking is getting better i think too although i've been trying to school some easier stuff lately so i can have good solid unique long strings.

i did a ton of shredding this weekend. i got atomic osis down. ducked stepping set for the first time. hit ripwalk>ripwalk many times. got 15 clipper switch (trying to get to 23). got 6 consecutive whirls, my timing of the dex was a little off before.

Saturday i hit Atomic osis>mirage>butterfly>15 spinning clippers (new record by 2) i did it with the bag i sewed this week. i'm thinking of selling it but i'm not sure. i need the money and i have other bags, but this one is the best 32 i've sewn so far. i think i'll probably sell it for $15 if anyone is willing to pay that, otherwise i'm happy to keep it.

pm me if you are interested in buying it.

Eggplant>quantum legover>butterfly>ripwalk>ripwalk>far legover

i spent a long time working on a sick shred 30 for the kansas footbag open on june 2nd. the string above is all that i've hit of it so far. i can get up to the first ripwalk real consistantlybut the 2nd ripwalk is were i have trouble cause i have a weak flip stepping set. but the rest of my shred 30 shouldn't be to hard for me to continue without dropping. i think i might have to write a little simpler shred 30 than what i have though, idk.

so i'm not going to my girlfreind's birthday partyat worlds of fun theme park cause f the kansas footbag open...but i kinda wanna go to Orlandos night club with zac to play footbag the following day which is her actual birthday...i don't know if i could convince her of that.

New Stuff:
quantum mirage
quantum ss mirage
25 clipper switch

i want to drill tripwalk, atomic dada curve, flip stepping, whirl

Kansas Footbag Open is June 2nd. putting together a shred 30 for that.

June 10th we are having a fire session at orlandos nightclub starting at 7:00 in the parking lot. The manager there is bringing his juggling torches and stuff. I've been sewing a ton of 4 panels to use as fire footbags and to sell really cheap. 4 panels are good for fire footbags cause i can make them fairly quick and they are still like shreddable, just not top notch.

I was with my girlfreind 12 hours yesterday...we were going to a movie and i had just put on my lavers to wear. we were kinda standing around getting ready to leave and i looked down at my shoes. i felt sad. hadn't even played footbag since the fire session i had last monday. i figured i was gonna play a ton this summer, but not so much i guess. anyways i got her home pretty early, at like 10:00. then i headed over to orlandos nightclub and did a fire footbag and did a ton of torch juggling and had a great time. we had no lighter fluid so we used 190 proof alcohal. i dipped my finger in it and lit my finger on fire and used my finger to light my torches up.

here's the new bag i finally got filler for and so i closed it up and stuff.

What day do you wanna shred this week Cody?

I can come over to your house like, tomorrow around 5 or something prolly.

I can't come over today. Can't come over Thursday, or the rest of the week...

So I guess tomorrow or Wednesday. How does that bag play?

if your landing flat footed a lot and you arent playing on your toes it can put tension on the lower back and potentially injure your spinal cord.

drilled whirl stuff last night. highlight was toe whirl>spinning butterfly>paradox whirl. mostly i was drilling paradox whirl both sides. i'm pretty much equal on each side. i've only had 2 sessions since NYJ and both were about an hour. My back is finally healed, thanks to God, but the funny thing is i don't even want to play as much footbag anymore. I really love footbag but its not the most important thing in my life now. I wanted my back to be healed really bad so i could play footbag and now that it is a really haven't played alot. I think working on pdx whirls has strengthened my whirls and so i think my spinning whirls will be more consistant. Also i started stitching a new bag last night. It will be only the 2nd bag i've made with the fabric i got from cale at NYJ. it will be gray and white with red spikes. i think it should be pretty sweet.

Props on that string. I understand the unwillingness to play footbag, especially in the winter.

Friday?
