hey modified.

Dunno what to talk about...hmmm. well i have my matt cross bag i won from the freakshow and it has become my choice bag to shred with, it broke in quickly, i think due to the fact that it is mostly country cream and dark jade i think. its pretty fantastic the only thing i wish is that it was a little smaller maybe...just a tick smaller. I have really beendrilling my flipside clipper and have been playing on it regualrly, it feels so much more natural than it used to although it still takes a little more effort to set it head hight than it should. My newest thing is spinning clippers but they make me so dizzy, i have tried every tip kow to man but i still get so dizzy after three attempts. I am actually ok at doing the mid string like spinning clip>far ducking clip>spinning clip so BSOS i guess that aint so bad,. its a little frustrating like every move in footbag is. but i have come to accept that. I feel like im forcing my self a bit to get longer strings (10+ contacts) so when i get 5 or 6 it really frustrates me, i know i should be shooting for the strs but thats not always a good thing because then you just feel like you want give up. i dont like going too compex either, i think ducking butterfly or syposium whirl is about as technical as i like to get in a run. i just like doing ducking, weaving, zulu, and diving stuff because its more relaxing and isnt as physically hard on the body as some tricks are. I also think they look stylie and they are defianlty a crowed pleaser. I recently hit weaving osis but that was just on 'mistake'. most of the new things i learn are just me testing things out the discoveing that its actually a move. i really never go outside with a move in mind that i want to hit that day, it just doesnt work like that and i kinda like it like that. i am pretty happy with my skills at this point becaus ei can remember back to when i just learned ducking clipper, it used to be so hard to do! and that was less than half a year ago and now look at me :) its fantastic. In other news stitching is still fun and i want to move on to32's, they seem to take a little longer than i wish but the turn out is fantastic. im not that bad at them it just that it would be a while untill i'm actually a descent stitcher. 12's always seem to be the perfect thing, they are easy to stitch and take only about an hour and half. I'm a little disapointed about my windows paint contest because everyone got pissed when i had to elimate 9 of them. the poll couldnt hold that many though and i really really wanted to have a poll. i think doing half elimination, half voting was fair but some that got eliminated were pretty pissed(sorry guys) i will make another competition someday where no one has to get eliminated. i am surprised how many entered. its a fun thing to hold a competition like that because i dont really like making profit off my bags, i would much rather give them away in a fun way and see people enjo them. im going to let you in on a secret too. i am giving away 3 bags to the winner, not just 2.......SHHHHHH!

peace out modified, have a great day!

 footed reverse whirr

im not going to drill that though, just a fun little add-on

i have been having some great sessions latley, so nice out. i had a regatta this weekend (states) my boat got 4th in finals but thats ok because we beat our biggest rival (chaminade), unfortunatley we missed 3rd by 1.5 seconds, lol, how lame. if i had pulled a little harder for about 10 strokes we would have gotten 3rd  ah well, shit happens. but anyway, i showed a lot of people footbag and they were impressed i hit a really nice run which included ducking osis, flip ducking clip, diving butterfly, it was a 10+ cntact run untill i ran into someone!!! grrr, get out of my way!!!!!!!!!!!!

im having a little trouble with atomic (although not worring about it too much) I keep trying to do Illusioning or something, it never comes out like it does in videos, i think im trying to dex it too uch with my foot or something not my leg. hmm. the main focus of my sessions are using flip clipper and other flipside components in conjunction with my strong side. I feel really comfortable using my flip clipper. its fun.

I also cut off my toe walls, the shoes are ugly now but its really nice because my pixies dont get screwed up too much. they didnt really hit them before but i figured it would help and it did.

peace out.

so thanks to kevin crowley i tried doing arctic and frigidosis type of things, im not really sure on how to name things correctly but i sure am good at doing them (not to brag) but they seem really natural and i feel pretty confident, i was hitting some nasty string too, its always fun to discover a new concept.

i have decided i play a lot better around people and i should be doing public shred more often. My strings are just so much more consistznt and difficult, i just felt that all of the concepts i have been working so hard on, just clicked! it was like stepping was as easy as a toe stall and the tring lenth was just amazing, like 20+ contacts tilt/guilt. I had a lot of fun and i cant wait to do it again. I just feel like when im alon i dont try as hard or something, maybe i should be challenging myself a little more?

crap i almost forgot the most important thing:

first off, i hit flip smear 8O i hit feral ( fairy reverse whirl!) (my first fairy!) and i footed something else cool with a sick double dex, trying to figure it out now, if anyone thinks they know it, its posted in the tricks tip section. and i am so friggin close doing DATW i just need to remember to keep my foot off the ground after the second dex. im also feeling a lot more confident about rev wirr.

Session: 5/5 Stars

i just noticed that may 28th 2006 was the first time i ever hit mirage

so i guess i have been shredding for about 1 year :D i was wondering how good i would be at this point and to be honest with you, i am a lot btter than i thought i would be! 8) i know tons more concepts than i expected really. im happy :)

i think i'm going to try to hit a really hard trick on the 28th and the put in my signature :

May 28th, 2006 : Hit Mirage
May 28th, 2007: Hit (insert really hard trick here)

i think that would be pretty chill, Maybe i'll do whirr or fairy something or stepping ducking or Backside smear, i think that would be a good one because it invloves mirage
